They cant run the ball. Quick easy 3 and outs. Pull away at the end. We will run mustang and we are only missing pp with mo, simon, mathieu, brooks all improving. I think we improved over last year. We just cant give up big plays like we did against auburn, ole miss, and ark last year.

Oregon WR's were pretty bad
MSU WR's weren't good either
West Va finally will challenge LSU secondary but the threat of a running game is far less than Oregon or MSU
I like LSU by 2 td's.
If its a close game the thing that scares me the most is our kickoff coverage which could hurt on the road

Our offense sucks? Granted, our offense is not great by any stretch of the imaginiation, but we have the 34th best scoring offense in the nation, Maryland has the 57th. Maryland put up 31

And the measly 344 yards per game that your offense puts up which is good for 85th in the nation?

WVU has had the opportunity to play Norfolk State, and the 93rd and 98th ranked scoring defenses in the nation. That's some padded stats bro

When you're D is giving you the ball at the 50 the yardage won't be impressive. Hence, the disparity between 34th and 85th.

And you guys put up 400 yards against Northwestern State. 400 yards isn't bad but it would only be 66 in the nation right now.

We also gave up 95 yards of offense to them
In comparison, WVU gave up 285 to Norfolk State

If Norfolk can manage that, you bet your arse we will put up 400+ and 30+ points

I don't think you can argue LSU has had the hardest schedule to this point either.

Most teams are still playing teams like Norfolk State and get padded stats.

This isn't true. On average you got the ball on the 31 yard line against Oregon and on the 20 yard line against Mississippi State. Thus not proving the disparity.

No worries ole boy..... The Tiger D is for real, not taking away anything from Gino, and its not a knock on Gino..... its giving props to actually good this D is.... why some dont see it yet is beyond me, but our D is special and determined. There is so much talent out there, and they are playing up to it..

If you think West Virginia's o line is better than Miss St. or Oregan, then you don't watch the games. Both teams would beat UWV

As a fan, there isn't a more horrible feeling than seeing the opposing team run it down your teams throat. By the start of the 4th quarter lsu will be running at will.mark it down eers fans.

I would also argue Darron Thomas is better than Geno. DT has 3 more TD's, the same amount of interceptions, and a higher passer rating. DT has these numbers and he has played a top 5 defense. Geno hasn't played a team in the top 90 of total defense.

West Virginia passing Offense is not the best passing offense that LSU has see so far.
Oregon was the best. And Miss State was not a slouch.
Passing with out a running threat is not the best offensive football team. How can some people say otherwise?

It's a great defense. It's better than last year's defense but not by much. Geno only threw one pick last year against that defense in the 2nd start of his career on a Saturday night at LSU. Which you guys obviously know is there are very few if any environments that top LSU on a Saturday night. Yeah I think I'll take my chances with Geno in his second year of starting on his own home field.

They will throw a lot of short passes, quick slants and option routes with inside receivers. you have to play good zone coverage against that kind of attack. the difference is our pass rush adn ability to get hands in the air. we should be able to tip some balls and cause general mayhem for 4 quarters.

Both of your numbers are wrong. Average was the 40 against UO and 25 against MSU.

your offense was completely dominated by our defense last year and you know it. Jordan Jefferson played the worst game of his life and that is the ONLY reason you were even within shouting distance. it was the most lopsided 6 point win I've ever seen.
