If tHe offense is putrid it will be apprpriate given that LSU still does not " get it"!

Rule changes now routinely facilitate 70 or more points scored per game.
No turnovers and stout defense will no longer suffice.

Les didn't accept it and now his successor is right back to bidneth as usual

How long must this multi million dollar enterprise be run like a small truck stop on 167?

Miles wouldn't pass for the sake of passing.
Pretty sure he would've emphasized the run game looking at the pass production.

Eschewing the passing game is no longer a viable option post pro passing rules and enforcement mandates.

Its OK. Les, Ed, Joe, Steve all get paid big $ and still they don't get it so why should you

Successful coaches don't tend to feature what the team isn't proficient at.
An increase in pass attempts hasn't really helped the offensive production in ppg, ypg, etc.
Could be they aren't good at either, also.
No need to get your panties in a wad over it.

I'm actually concerned about the defense given the large number of injuries

Oh. My life isn’t predicated on these kids who I have no relationship with. It’s all entertainment for sure.

“ average at best”

Are we talking about the LSU line that helped put up 550 yards of total offense on Georgia?

Yes. Yes we are. They haven't done anything over the course of the season to suggest otherwise. I'm rewatching the Rice game and burrow took a lot of snaps from the shotgun with a back beside him. The offense isn't there yet but they're progressing.

A&M's elite rush defense made us one dimensional and our shite O line couldn't protect. E/O go for max protect scheme again with similar results as the rest of the year. Sure hope it doesn't play out that way, but if it's going to go wrong, that's likely how.

That's pretty much the way I see it too..

Simple.
No pass protection. No win.

“ they’re progressing”

I would say since the Georgia game, they are regressiving. We put up 550 total yards vs a highly ranked Ga and struggled to get 400+ in our next 2 games combined.

Let’s hope that changes this weekend.

Understood. And I wasn’t implying that it was, just answering your question honestly.
