How many games did the transfer from GT start FOR TEXAS last year?? As for the All American you left off one very IMPORTANT word "FRESHMAN".
Like I said horns return TWO starting Olinemen from last year's team. The center and LT and the LT is playing a new position.
As for the other players I mentioned. That is that quality Oline depth as in the backups.
Those numbers and player experience come from the official university of texas site.

quote:I can smell the insecurity in this post. You know deep down that Texas lost 8 starters off a shite defense last year and lucked out against a checked out UGA team that didn’t even have its best player.
Dude said Texas is soft. You have no clue.
Hell, LA Tech abused you up and down the field.

Didn't ya'll just struggle to beat UCF with their backup QB? I understand being confident, but give me a break with we don't have the athletes to compete.
Considering you're hanging your hat on defeating Georgia the same year we did- this is fricking comical. You are in for a rude awakening.

UT has played 14 QBs drafted in round 1-4 the last four seasons.
In comparison, LSU has faced one, Drew Locke
Wrong, LSU faced Pat Mahomes in the bowl game in the 15-16 season.
They also faced Lamar Jackson the following Bowl season.

You calling La tech’s offense elite? They put up 400 yards on UT..

Now, one week into the season, Jordan Whittington just had surgery for a sports hernia, Kirk Johnson has an injured clavicle, and Daniel Young has a high ankle sprain. They are all out for multiple weeks. Without the second, third, and fourth running backs available, quarterback Roschon Johnson was moved to emergency RB2. Johnson was a four-star dual-threat quarterback in the 2019 class, and the multidimensional athlete performed well after being forced to adapt in order to contribute on Saturday. Backup linebacker David Gbenda has been moved to the backfield as well. Gbenda will get reps this week during practice, though will hopefully not see the field too much against LSU.

No offense, but you and a lot of other fans of Texas are too smug to see that LSU is clearly the better team.
I heard this stat today. The last time Texas produced a first round pick was 2015. What does that have to do with Saturday? It shows that Texas’ recruiting and player development has become inferior to that of LSU and other top programs in recent years. Although Texas has improved, they are not on the level of the top tier SEC programs, such as LSU and others. No offense, but you beat UGa in a game where they were sleep walking, and were disappointed to be playing you guys. We trounced them in a high stakes SEC showdown with both teams at full strength.
It is reasonable to believe that only one of your players would start on LSU’s defense, and that would be your safety, but even he is not anywhere close to the player Delpit is. Texas is replacing a lot of players from a defense that struggled to stop a lot of offenses that would have struggled against top tiered SEC defenses. To be as good as LSU’s defense, Texas’ would have had to have taken a miraculous leap forward. Highly unlikely.
I think your wide receivers are decent, but you no longer have Humphrey. LSU’s wide receivers developed into one of the strongest position groups on the team last season, and we return our leading receiver, Justin Jefferson, along with two future stars/NFL players in Jamarr Chase and Terrace Marshall. Advantage LSU. I’m not even going to speak of your depleted group of running backs.
An objective person would call the quarterback position a wash. Ehlinger has the advantage on the feet. Burrow is a better thrower. Both are equally tough, competitive, and intelligent.
All five of our offensive linemen were starters last year. Texas’ offensive line is decent, but most reasonable people would say that is an advantage for LSU.
You have the home field advantage, and I acknowledge that anything can happen in a game between two top ten teams, but there is a reason why the visiting team is a 6.5 point favorite. It’s because they are clearly better.

Tired of the bullshite talking. Tired of delusional Texas fans thinking we will get run over. Bring on the game so they can see with their own eyes what LSU big boy football is all about.

Literally every Texas fan is aware of this, it's no surprise to anyone. This is college football though, and two very good teams lining up.
Games aren't played on paper, and that's the beauty of it.

Wrong again. The Longhorns are a good team. This 2019 LSU squad is a great team. You, the Longhorns & the rest of the country are about to find out the hard way.

I wouldn't be shocked if Texas wins, but I would be a little surprised.
Seems that LSU holds a pretty good advantage in experience
But UT is a good team and it's at home, DKR or not that counts for something.
Plus it's still early as hell in the season and bad shite can happen
