if we weren't fired up for uf or uga, what makes you think tomorrow is going to be any different?

If we cant get fired up for this game then something is wrong.

the latter part of your statement is accurate.

It was no surprise that UF's were effective in the 4th quarter when the D stayed on the field the entire game.

then why should it be a surprise when/if lsu is unable to do it tomorrow vs. bama?

Moreno is a very good back

not denying that.

We stuffed him at the line and he made like 3 cuts to get through the line.

we missed 3 tackles; should have had him down for a loss.

Most of his yards came on 2 big plays

what difference does that make; he still gained those yards.

is this your response to everything.

is bama not an overrated team. they have played crappy vs far less talented teams this year. its not like they r unbeatable.

easy. our two losses came against teams that can throw the ball with a good qb.

bama does not have a good qb.

not saying i would bet my life on it or anything. but i have confidence that this team can put it together. especially for this game.

My intuition going into UF and UGA was that we would get beat; it was just a matter of how bad.

Going into this one, I think we will win..again intuition.

Factually, I think we are playing a weaker team than UF and that we match up with them much better than against UGA. UA has less depth than either one of those. IF they played UGA 4 more times, I think UGA wins 2 or 3.

If we are close at half time, we have 50-50 chance; if we are ahead at half, and the OC doesn't call things to torpedo us, we win 90%-10.

Keys: rattle JPW early; stuff early run game; establish our run game and use it liberally to wear down their D-line. LSU doesn't panic when behind. UA doesn't know how to play from behind this year because they have jumped out each game. We have to prevent early mistakes and free points. Stay close til half, win in the second half.

I think LSU was overwhelmed by veteran talent at the skill positions in those two losses. I am not sure Alabama can do that to us. LSU could still lose a physical game to them, but I have not seen LSU lose a game like that in a long time.

Bama's offensive line is very stout, our d-line has underachieved to this point. We have to win this battle. It is time our much ballyhooed DT and DEs play with some pride and win the battle in the trenches. If LSU can neutralize their line on both sides of the ball we have an excellent chance to win.

Our playmakers have to do more with their opportunities. JL needs to play his best game.

You are missing the point. Bama is not a big play offense with a borderline Heisman candidate at RB. This is not to say they aren't any good, just a very different style.

UF could spread the field with WRs that we couldn't cover. Then the RB just has to get through the line and he has 1 LB to beat and he's off to the races. UGA was also able to hit enough plays in the passing game that we couldn't afford to put 8 in the box. That makes it a lot easier to run.

I seriously doubt we see Bama line up in a bunch of 5-wide sets. They are going to get in the I with 2 WRs and 1 TE. They are going to try to run it down our throats and occasionally play action pass for the big play. They've done this in every game. Look at the second half of the Ole Miss game. They were able to slow the run and stop Bama from driving the field and they got back in the game. Wilson was not able to put the game away with his arm. They had to re-establish the run at the end of the 4th quarter to win the game.

If LSU can slow the run against a team that they match up with better than UGA or UF, then they can win. it's as simple as that. I hope your negativity keeps you warm tonight.

who honestly feels lsu will win? if you do feel confident in lsu winning, please explain as to why? what reason has lsu given this season for one truly to be confident in not only winning, but even keeping it competitive. is lsu capable of winning? of course. would i be surprised if lsu won? not at all. but come on, lets be realistic, supporting our team is one thing, but blindly believing lsu will win is just down right laughable.

Honestly?? On paper LSU should win tomorrow. But, when you compare apples to oranges, Georgia & TN shouldve beaten us too. Man for man LSU probably has more talent, but so did Georgia, and when you think about it, so did Clemson. No one is more shocked at Bamas success this year than the fans. I think our greatest asset has been great play by a strong OL, a veteran QB, mature freshmen that have greatly contributed, ie Julio Jones, Mark Ingram etc...Not to mention great coaching which is seen by the fact that we dont make anywhere near as many stupid mistakes this year. We're taking care of the football and we're keeping the penalties to a minimum. And while we're not the most talented team in the country, we're probably one of the most conditioned thanks to Sabans 4th quarter program.

The fact that we're playing in death valley should also be to your advantage...BUT, as everyone knows, the winner of this rivalry is usually the visiting team, traditionally speaking that is. Not to mention the fact that Bamas best games this year have been on the road, ie Clemson (34-10), Ark,(49-14) GA,(41-30) and UT (29-9).

Thats my two cents anyway.

Considering what a lot of Bama homers and even some Negatigers are saying, that's a pretty objective analysis BamafanNGA.

Scoop, Do you think it will be a high scoring game? 20's? 30's?

this choice in a name, along with your ignorance is proof of two things:
1. you live in the past.
2. you are only supportive in winning effort.

I bet you were a Patriots fan until Brady got hurt. It must suck right now to not know who to claim as your team.

If LSU simplifies things and goes straight at them, our athletes are probably better than their athletes.

Nothing fancy, just a hat on a hat.
