Players are standing and watching too many pitches come down the chute with the bat on their shoulders and then swinging at a pitch neck high or a slider that's low and outside a foot or more! LSU has got to be more aggressive at the plate! Help 'em Jesus cause they need it!

Yeah the game has passed Jay by and he clearly is sitting back on his laurels and lost his edge and can’t recruit the guys we need or teach the ones we have

jay has been working for 2 yrs plus to get these guys to take more pitches. Last night... two on and no out with Kling up. First pitch swing on a high heater from the new relief pitcher and pop up for one out.
You have to make the pitchers work and pitch counts often get you into the bullpen earlier.

It's the same thing every year on this board. Some say we watch too many pitches and then others will say that we swing at the first pitch and don't make the pitcher work enough. Doesn't matter who the coach is. It's the same thing over and over.
