According to Musso, this is the first time in the modern era that LSU has lost its first 4 SEC series. Likely to be the first 5.

If they were to finish with a losing record, would Scott Woodward and/or TAF have a meeting of the minds with JJ?

There is no chance that Jay is fired, and he shouldn’t be. But this could end up being a historically bad season, which is still concerning

With LSU's baseball history and resources there's no excuse for this, although there are plenty of people trying to gloss it over.

Definitely not a fun follow up to a National Championship team.
I could have tolerated a 6-6 SEC record but still been very disappointed.
What’s happened so far and the team playing seemingly with no Heart is very very concerning.

It’s abundantly clear that some of you should absolutely never be in charge of anything, ever.

What exactly is the “modern era”? When did the “modern era” begin?
Seriously curious?

He didn’t say a specific year but he said he went back to before Bertman, so at least 1984. He said he quit looking when it got he got to years in which they would have a double header on a Saturday and call it a “series”. Basically he went back to when they started the 3 game weekend series format.

You’re getting downvoted because of your stupid reactionary opinion, not because everyone else is an idiot. This is your thing though, you melt so often that people just laugh at you.

Nobody is happy with this season but firing Jay is a straight up asinine reaction.

I don’t think anyone said fire Jay. I think I said he’s doing a terrible job. And that’s okay

You ain’t looked real hard then. People are already saying in multiple threads that Jay is basically Coach O and Les all over again and a couple folks asked what his buyout is.

Compare their careers and LSU thus far

Johnson won’t end like O, but to say there aren’t similarities at this point is dishonest
