Auburn playing dirty? Ask Glen Dorsey about Chaz Ramsey.

It wasn't just hip drop tackles. After tackling our offensive players they were laying on them and holding their legs so we couldn't get up and go fast.

One time they did it way too obvious on Dilin Jones and Seaton took exception and pulled the guy off.

It was typical Auburn being dirty.

It was one of very few examples of the ref using their discretion and not fricking us on what could have been a penalty (by the letter of the rules).

They were dirty from the opening kickoff, flagged for unsportsmanlike on a touchback. It doesn’t happen by accident.

It's not really a surprise that DJ Durkin teaches guys to intentionally injure opponents.

Right. Durkin is a known piece of shite.

I saw the one by the sideline on trey' dez and one on jackson harris.

Those should be like "targeting" and immediate removal from the game

They should be illegal in CFB too

I didn't like it when they became illegal in the NFL fwiw. Can't hit people high. Can't block someone not paying attention. Can't hit QBs low or high. Can't pull people down by their collars. Can't use your weight to bring down a player. Football has made it very difficult to be able to tackle someone in a a fast speed, collision sport where you have little time to think exactly how you're going to bring someone down or react quick enough to avoid a penalty. It's kind of gotten ridiculous as if they think they're going to eliminate injuries. The only other way to bring down a guy like Green is to tackle him like Ole Miss did, which is every bit as dangerous a hit and was close to ending his season.

Auburn plays dirty? Years go by and players and coaches change but this is one thing that never changes.....
It's actually amazing, what remains.

My teenage daughter actually made a comment during the game about the hip drop tackles and questioned whether they were legal in college.

I played her the clip of Lane yesterday commenting about them in relation to Trey'Dez (she was pretty proud of herself for noticing them.)
