Thanks for the links big time.

Dalton is among my all-time favorite Tigers. Just a fantastic RB and so much fun to watch run.

James looks like a man amongst boys in his video. Doing it against the gumps makes it priceless.

Springlake Tiger =

Damn those were some awesome games to watch. The thing I loved about Hilliard is he would always get up slow and never be cocky or rub it in. Jim Brown was the same way... Thanks again.

Dalton had to be as fun to watch from the end zone as from the sideline. Had the zig-n-zag.

thanks for the video links. I remember it well as I was in school then. Had a class with dalton as a freshman - his soph year. he was just a nice guy. some of my friends say he loves to bass fish now and will kill a golf ball. but still not cocky at all - down to earth dude.

Did you notice how James just sat the ball down on the ground.... Those were two great backs...

Many memories.

yep...that is how Arnsbarger and Stovall taught them. No show-offs. James was unbelievably fast for a guy his size. Not sure what his 40 time was, but it seemed like everyone else was in slow motion when he hit the corner. Harvey Williams was a lot like that, but with attitude.

That Hilliard video of the '82 game against Bama reminded me of how the LSU defense took the Bear's wishbone offense....and shoved it up their ARSE!!!...

...that was an epic beatdown that afternoon..The Bear was never the same after that game and died soon afterwards...RIP
