Hopefully Storz can be the hoss. But,really, he's got a mlb bat also. If the shoulder is only a pitching issue. Let's get that big bat in there next season. YouTube he's mashing bombs in Fenway and other major league parks

That's what I am exciting about.
I want to see him hit bombs.

Not worried about pitching with Dunn in charge. Don't always agree with PM's decisions in pulling pitchers too soon or too early but that's why he gets paid the big bucks to make those decisions.
It still comes down to the hitting and the endless cycle of hitting coaches tends to ultimately define this team.

Yes. When you commit to college in baseball it's for at least 3 years. The whole birthday loophole shouldn't exist but they shouldn't take advantage of if.

If either Hess or Watson was my son, I would advise staying four years and getting a college degree. Very few people make a career out of MLB. Just my opinion.
Most of our early draftees do come back and earn their degrees in the offseason. I know Lange did or is working towards it. Kramer finished in December, etc. playing pro ball doesn't preclude you from finishing your education

Don't be dumb.

Apparently your love doesn’t extend to the athlete.
I don’t see how anyone can fault a kid for leaving to make life changing money.
Hell baseball players aren’t even on full scholarships for the most part. You’re asking these kids to pass up millions to pay their tuition at LSU.
You’re a special kind of dumb.

We made the CWS final last year, the program hasn't fallen at all.

And we are pretty much in the exact same spot as last year record wise with a deeper pen, 4 established starters. The team is in this position with extended injuries to 3 of its best players. People are freaking out for no reason. I don't get it at all.

considering gilbert is a junior i doubt he goes to the draft. if he doesnt that is a solid weekend rotation. Hess is a draft eligible sophomore so i believe hes gone after this year.
