You do know that if Saban didn't attempt 4 stupid FGs in November, all that is still true. Right?
So when everyone was saying that Saban was outcoached 11/5 they were wrong because of 1/9? He fricking DID attempt those FG's.
I can not stand these what if's. You sound like a fricking gump right now. 'Fans' like you baffle me
If les miles had better prepared and coached monday we would have won. (See I can say what if's and put whatever the frick I want up. That did not happen.)

Since 2008
Sabans first year at Alabama,
Alabama has:
7 more All-Americans
3 more first round draft picks
8 more wins
1 more SEC championship
2 more national championships
In this span, Miles also made two huge blunders that set this program back: Malvetto and QB situation.
We have also had 2 10+ win seasons and an SEC championship of our own.
It's a mixed bag, but I don't like being number 2

You defended JJ all year. There is nothing left to defend. So your back-up plan is that Miles is such a good coach, you trusted his judgement
Wrong again
Wrong again

Les Miles will not ride JJ to defeat. That was my favorite. They thought Miles didn't have some weird attachment.
I was wrong about JJ starting and playing. I thought we could win regardless of who was playing. I was wrong. But oh well. Life goes on. I have admitted that I was wrong many times already.
I just don't think it is something to continue to pile on about like many.

I hate Saban, but Mon night confirmed that he lost the Nov game.
He made mistakes.

What myths, exactly? Can you name one?
The same ones are being repeated.

"miles will never beat Saban again"
"miles will never get us back to Atlanta".

"Les doesn't play favorites and the better player will play"

I literally haven't seen one person say those things.
Many people are rightly saying that things don't look good on the vs. Alabama front right now.

Who else could you attribute the "favorite player" belief to though other than the Hester/keiland debate and lee/Jefferson.
There needs to be many many more examples for that to be true that he ONLY plays his favorite and not who is better.

Why? Because we lost to them the other day?
We have beaten them 2 out of 3. They are at our house next season. They are losing a lot, we are also but both will be strong next year. We both continue to recruit at a high level. Both coaches are 3-3 vs each other.
Looks pretty good to me.

Nope, that's all I need. We saw it all of last season and the 2nd half of this season.

But what I posted is true.
There are some ridiculous claims and guarantees going on by idiots on this board. This is some of them that we're proven to be totally fricking wrong.
By the same token, there have been some ridiculous claims made by Les Miles proponents that have been proven "totally fricking wrong." First and foremost was the repeated and desperate argument that Miles is clearly superior to Saban. I could find dozens of posts that made that claim. And yet, based on Monday's outcome and the totality of evidence, it appears to be "totally fricking wrong." Saban depantsed Miles on Monday and now holds a commanding 3 to 1 lead in NC's, 3 to 2 lead in SECC's, etc. Meanwhile, he's also outrecruiting Miles, as evidenced by the recent Collins commitment and historical recruiting rankings. No one is more pissed than me about the disparity between Miles and Saban, but the claims by Miles devotees about his superioriry to Saban look pretty dumb right now. I hope that changes.
And what about the claim that Miles knew more than anyone else about his QB's and that his favoritism towards JJ was based on sound evidence and would never hurt the team? That sounds somewhat naive now as well.
The point is we just suffered an embarrassing loss, so why not give people time to heal rather than jumping on their throats for expressing dissatisfaction a mere three days post-debacle?

2 players out of 7 years worth of LSU players does not make a trend. It just means it might not be the right decision. Plus one could argue that Heater was no slouch when he was in there instead of Keiland.

It might be spoiled, but sports are about competition. I don't like losing to a division rival in every category.
