How about this then

If Les becomes infatuated with you, you'll play even if you're the inferior player

Either way, the best player does not always play

Coaches everywhere make personnel decisions that are perplexing and confusing to fans. This isn't just a thing that happens here.

Plus, when there is only an example of 2 players in such a long time span, it really doesn't mean it is a trend.

The qb situation is different than what I have seen anywhere else though, I'll give you that.

Here is another myth you can't beat a good pass rush without a running QB.

It is amazing how negative people can be about a team that continues to bring in talent and win at such a high level.

Frustrating loss, but damn strong, strong and elite season.

Miles has now become the 1st LSU coach since 61 to go undefeated in the SEC and the 1st in LSU history to lead LSU to two BCSCGs.

The man just continues to rewrite/own the LSU HC records.

13-1, 9-0 in the SEC, west champs, SEC champs, and BCSCG member...anyone upset with these kinda results is college football mentally challenged.

"Les Miles could never find a way to embarrass LSU footbal than he did in the Ole Miss and Tennessee debacles"

Proved that one wrong too.

So what has happened since then? LSU has won an SEC title and played in the championship game. Those two games in grand scheme of things don't really matter especially since the program has been brought back to an elite level after those games.

But by all means continue to talk about those games and ignore the great things after.

We have also had 2 10+ win seasons and an SEC championship of our own. It's a mixed bag, but I don't like being number 2 Saban's first year was 2007 and Bama only has 1 more NC and the same SEC championships Nice try

You're right. I meant second year. But I was going from 2008, which was the year that Saban had a whole offseason and time to implement his system. Since that date, the numbers have Bama and Saban destroying us.

i have...many times. that was Nuts4LSU's motto in 2009.

we'd never beat Saban again
we'd never beat Meyer again
we'd never win the west again

I got one more myth. The team could have done worse with Lee or Mett at QB against Bama. How can you score less points than zero? Are there negative points in football?

Miles has never shown partiality, nor ever tried to use this season as a promotional campaign for JJ.

You can include me in that as well choctaw, I am not doubting miles anymore, even though he sucked Monday night, he is the only coach I want here and is a great coach. However, he needs to fix this offense. Our offense underperformed the the last 4 years. I mean come on, the guy used to be a oc and I- line coach. He failed at both Monday. He needs a OC badly and miles needs to stay out of it.

the offense did suck but i think that had alot to do with the gameplan. Everything but the defense was just fricked up the entire game.
