Is Trent a better coach or recruiter than John Brady?

Well up to this point the only success TJ has had is with Brady's players. Four years in he has not recruited a player who is NBA caliber, maybe JOB he is the closest thing to having a shot. I think Brady was a better bb coach and had guys on the bench who could coach. I am not sure TJ has a guy on that bench who can help him coach during the game. We have been out played in the second half in most of TJ's games and when we come out of timeouts not many good things happen. I think Brady was better at both aspects.

brady was a much better recruiter..
heck we see what TJ can do with talent 28-7 his first year...but look how good Thorton was..he is doing well in the nba.
I just don't see electric type of players...I see good players, but not elite type of difference makers.
The last time I really enjoyed LSU basketball and followed it with passion was when we had Chris Jackson..dude was off the charts good.
We had shaq and the other big dude...can't believe we didn't go further with that talent
Dale quit because he was tired of losing players early to the NBA

How bout the 15 before that
Dale picked LSU basketball up off the floor and willed us to some great years.
He recruited some of best talent I have even seen on one team. We had some great, exciting years/games.
I thank the man.
Having said that, he allowed the bottom to quickly drop out of the program and put the program in harms way with the LE thing which allowed the NCAA to kick our basketball balls all the way up to our throat.

LE recanted to Dale and to Johnny Jones.

I agree totally. Great memories but shoulda retired 4 years earlier. It crumbled around him.

LE recanted to Dale and to Johnny Jones.
But even assuming it is, there were other infractions besides the Johnny Cash allegations, infractions that LSU admitted to (not Dale mind you but LSU).
And much of the penalties meeted out were self-imposed by LSU with a couple of extra tacked on by the NCAA, probably exacting some measure of "take that" to Dale for his goading of them and comparing them to Nazi's. Immature? yes, but not surprising.

Stanley, John Williams, and Randy are my 3 biggest disappointments as for as guys I thought would be great ball players with fine careers when I 1st saw take the court in P&G.
I was so bummed out when Randy got hurt...dang shame.

2014 so odds are LSU wouldn't be able to get him if y'all want to get rid of TJ at season's end. B/C if TJ is gone this year or next there is no way you are firing a coach in 2014 to bring in Pearl
