And rightfully so. Their performances back it up. What’s weird is that you think it’s weird that they trust the guys who are performing the best.

Some would call it odd that you deprioritize many guys you relied on for a championship run a year ago for the new guys in just 2 weeks time

We'll see...like I said. Herring will be in the transfer portal after this season as his appearances drop this season. As the announcers have said quoting Jay Johnson, this is a better overall pitching staff than last season.

about trusting guys who have been dominant so far?

To be fair, were 2 weeks in and said pitchers have dominated bad, low level teams

He followed Coleman against Wake Forest and saved our Omaha arse.

Skenes only makes one appearance in the CWS if not for Herring… and we go idiots bailing on him after a slow start.

Bless him for saving our season and helping us win a title, but that was a one off miracle performance. The likelihood is we will never see that again.

He's probably a Magician alter. He won't last this baseball season. Probably best if we just learn to ignore him.

Mark this down. Herring won't be at LSU next season.

I bet he will. Jay loves lefty’s. Kid was a big reason we won the CWS. His Wake performance was clutch.

LSU has a bunch of left-handed pitchers unlike in some recent years. Once again, 19 pitchers for LSU have already been used. And Herring's 4 ERA and 1.5 WHIP during last season wasn't very impressive. His 10.5 ERA and 2.1 WHIP this season so far isn't helping his cause either. Anyway, we just have different predictions on his future. We'll see who is right.

You talking about the Ack that just had 6 Ks in only a couple innings last night?

What is your definition of much? Ackenhausen, a reliever, is tied for 2nd in innings pitched among all LSU pitchers. Your comment is a good way to lose credibility.

Thanks.

To actual play. The team has been together since Fall, and they are together a lot that isn’t on TV, written, or talked about.

How have the guys from last year done against bad, low level teams in comparison?

I still fail to see what’s weird about a guy known to shuffle up the lineup going with the hot hands in an early season tournament.

We don’t have a championship without him. Take is dumb.
