People like to plan ahead and have tickets in hand when going to a game. I am in Memphis and no way I make the almost 800 mile round trip without tickets in hand. $120 for uppers is ridiculous.

Actually, it makes total sense. Local groups trying to raise a little money for their school, church, ball team, etc. used to run those concession stands. Now you have a large company, which hires people for minimum wage (think McDonald's workers), running concessions and LSU doesn't have to give a cut of the profits to the local groups.

So give up the security of having a ticket in hand, wait until a half-hour before kickoff and you'll scoop up tickets for a fraction of that. These games aren't even close to being sold out nowadays. There are too many tickets to be had, especially for a day game.

If you're complaining about paying $120 for an upper deck ticket, you're doing it wrong. The face value for ticket prices are outrageous, but you can get around that. Otherwise, there are plenty of places around town you can watch the game with other LSU fans for the experience of gameday.

Now you can't get around outrageous in-stadium food prices unless you just vow not to eat or drink once you're inside. And I applaud you if you can do that.

That's fine for maybe a night AL game, but if you have any awareness at all, you could easily see that AU tickets were much cheaper than that on here and stubhub so get them there at least if you needed them in hand. Then take note once you arrive at the stadium and don't repeat that mistake in the future.

I couldn't give away 2 good NEZ tickets, even the scalpers wouldn't make me an offer... should have waited til gametime. And eat at the tailgate. I bought a drink with free refill and 2 waters.

Well, at least they stopped calling it "Tiger Water"; that would be even creepier if it was warm...

I paid 10 bucks a piece for tickets on the West 37 yard line. Bottom row terrace (first row above the lower deck)
Great seats can be had. I dumped my seasons I had for 14 years 3 years ago. A great decision.

Real dumb to give it to a company for ten years. Should've given it for three years with renewal periods.

The cost of attendance has definitely gotten to be way too high, but you are very bad at this. Half that cost could have easily been avoided.

Not to mention my area did not have lids for the drinks. It's like they wanted the ice to melt really fast so you would have to but another over priced drink.

Disney let's you bring in your own food and drinks.

Didn't lsu allow baseball fans to bring in their own water on hot days?

Don't spend all that ridiculous money and then come here and bitch about Alleva. You spent the money, so he did his job. Quit spending all that money and the prices will go back down. Alleva doesn't get his cues from the Rant. He only cares about the money.

Considering how hot it was, I'm surprised the price for bottled water wasn't reduced like it was in 2015.

I noticed the thing with the 90s tv's as well by the concessions. Why not show the game? It's on the jumbotron, it's the same feed.
