Folks still down voting me for saying Tyson was a bad pick when Downs was there can fly a fricking kite.

We need talent all over

Like a safety thats got 3 forced fumbles already?

Sure. Or another WR that gets separation

He should have made the play but that's one of the biggest holes I've seen (joke potential) in a while.
Irrelevant conversation until we see him play. Will continue to be an irrelevant conversation until well into next season.

Dallas’ defense may be worse than ours. Bain is the worst DE in football and the Bucs are 0-4.
Criticizing general FO performance is fair. Acting like the Tyson pick, in particular over downs and Bain, is somehow a pressing concern is ludicrous.

The passing game is the last thing this team has issues with.
They refused to address the secondary.
Fuaga looks like a bust
Stutsman too

Its relevant until he can play 10 games in a row.

Has been disappointing this year. Was banged up most of last year so understood. Not this year though.

If that's the case going into year 3 and 4 then sure. Right now it's his first year, so, irrelevant. We will see

Fuaga is a concern but not the biggest concern. He’s playing no worse than the rest of the o-line. So again either we struck out on all of them via talent evaluation or we have a scheme/coaching/gameplanning problem.
Stutsman sucked but he was a fourth round pick. Let’s also not forget how bad Zach Baun was for a few years here until he blossomed. The issue is we’re asking this mid round first and second year players to be the backbone of our units instead of spot contributors or playing surrounded by veteran talent.

it was not last year. Bryce Lance doesn't catch a thing thrown at him and Vele was injured most of last year.
Olave had very real injury concerns with the blood clot (career ender if it reoccurs) and the concussions (same)

Stutsman too

The calculation of drafting Tyson hasn't changed--WR1's command 33-40 million dollars per year while safeties command low 20's.

No, an injury prone player has to shed the label by playing consistently. He hasn't in 3 years. Until he does it will be a concern.

What chance did he have yesterday? It was mostly deep shots shough missed on

Vele seems to catch nearly every ball
Posted on 10/6/26 at 9:26 am to whatiknowsofar
lol Staley would have Downs 15 yards deep neutralizing his effectiveness

We have two NFL caliber WRs on the roster not counting the rookies. There are too many holes on the roster to say, “ha! Downs would’ve solved x, y, and z.” Does Downs help? Maybe. But looking at this as some win now thing is asinine.

Because hes not constantly running go routes like lance

right so he's a one dimensional player? meaning we needed more weapons to help Shough out

You needed secondary in a bad way. Downs was one of the highest graded players and one of the most cant miss prospects in this draft. He has already made impactful plays, even on a bad defense.
I'd love to be wrong but goddammit Mickey Loomis made these moves. Remind me of his track record again?
