Do you have extensive footage of him since HS? If so, produce it...

Lol, unfortunately all we have for all 3 of our QB's is what the did in HS and what they did in this year's Spring Game.
uh, no.

Brennan played last year and McMillian has already been here 3 years. It's not like they both just stepped on campus.

And high school highlights mean zero when you move from high school to the SEC. Apples and oranges.

some people are trying SO HARD to prove we have a serviceable QB that they're relying on HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS!!

It's really embarrassing.

Best part about this quote is he’s had three years to get on the field and give us footage. Hasn’t been able to do that with some of the quarterbacks we’ve had. It’s pretty damn telling if ya ask me.

He's a much better decision maker and is excellent throwing on the run

What are you basing this off of? One spring game?

Okay, I’ve decided I’m down. J-Mac gonna be AWESOME!! Of course this means one less excuse for Orgeron if the offense turns out to suck...I mean since he’s got such an awesome QB and all.

Recruits don't make decisions based on fan message boards. Good lord, man, where do you get that nonsense?

So what exactly do you mean about rooting against LSU? You never say anything out loud? Just on TD?

I’m getting that nonsense from you, it seems

I like how the rant thinks “developing a QB” is a thing.

ive explained this many times before.

If a coach is clearly not the right guy, it's better for the long term outlook of the program that he gets fired sooner rather than later. And if that takes a really bad year, so be it. We'll be much better off in the long run. Blindly supporting a clearly unqualified coach just because he wears p&g doesn't make someone a good fan, it makes them a chump.

Exhibit A is Johnny Jones. Clearly the wrong guy, and I'm glad he had a horrible year and got fired, because look who replaced him. Now we're headed up.

It is. And obviously a thing you don’t understand. You obviously never played football. QB development is a goal at every level of football.

Jumbo Fisher is known as.a developer of QBs. So is Mullens. QBs under urban Meyers seem to be developed well.

I'm pulling for LSU! It doesn't matter who the starting QB is, I want us to have the best chance to win games. Time for the haters and the hate-baiters to quit playing these games. "Go Tigers" should be our battle cry, not continuous bickering over who's the best and why isn't he starting bullshite.

This is the rants problem (and a good bit of our fan bases’ problem) in a nutshell.

It seems many want to demonized those that support the program regardless of who coaches, and further assign blame as if it is their fault that the HC is the HC and they hand picked them.

We have no control over who is coaching the team. If you think a coach will not succeed, it will work itself out. It all boils down to not wanting to be wrong, IMO. Trying to create a self fulfilling prophecy.

It’s like when idiots started booing at the end of Miles tenure and said “ we were booing the coaches not the players”. What? The players are the ones on the field, and know that they are ultimately driving the results. They are the program. They are the ones having success in the NFL, even if they never won a championship in college. They are the ones that will show up for years to come for big games and be the object of recruits conversations, snapchats, whatever.

A shitty coach will just be a name on a piece of paper 10 years from now.

So I will say it again. Lack of fan support and outright trashing of the program will be far more detrimental to the long term success of the program than going 8-4 during bad years.

nope. The players are pieces that are here for a short time and then are gone. The program is MUCH bigger than the players.

truly idiotic statement. I mean, just mind-blowingly dumb and naive.

You seem to rely on insults to make your point.

I’m not even sure if you realize what you are calling stupid. The fans are the fricking revenue source, their overall support is more important than the results of one season. And I’m the dumb and naive one, ok.

Yep. I define the program as something that exists in perpetuity. Certain pieces come and go. Some are literally fixed assets. However the players and the fans are the longest lasting and most impactful parts of the program. Fact.

Really? The dude has been on the LSU rooster since 2015, but we have look at high school film to see his decision making and throwing on the run? Are you fricking serious!

News flash, there is a night to day difference between high school defenses and SEC defenses.
