It is unconscionable and inexplicable.

That is something to tell your 6 year-old after his team loses their soccer game. That is not what you tell a 55 year-old man making 4 mil per year.

Piss me some fricking excellence, old man!

He tried and failed but it certainly wasn't due to recruiting to few QBs. He should learn from his mistakes and fix the issue ASAP.

The part that is way above your head is that it's not over yet. That's why you're a ranter.

In fact, this same problem did not happen this season to Urban Meyer, Nick Saban,

Yeeaaaaahhh, you may want to look at the depth charts at both Florida and Alabama.

Either one of those starting QB's get hurt, BOTH teams are fricked.

Too early to tell if this is a colossal failure. Lets see what happens over the next few years before passing on a verdict, but it certainly is a legitimate reason for some serious concern.

I'm with this, the simple version is this:

Miles had to know he had a problem in this area. Rather than fix it, he gambled, lost and has nothing to fall back on. Mentioning RP in this thread does nothing but add insult to injury. He had to know RP was a loose canon as well and miles bet it all on him, lost and had nothing to fall back on....can you see it.

My question is when will he learn?

He dismissed RP which was the right thing to do in my opinion. Which caused him to play JLee to early and thus JJ to early. Those guys are still struggling to this day.

That was not all Les's failure but it should have given him the opportunity to

learn from his mistakes and fix the issue ASAP.
Which apparently he has not.

To say he can fix the problem with a JUCO QB is easy to say, but name me the last JUCO QB that won an SEC title?

No, No, No. That's the point. Learn from your mistakes when you are an assistant at Michigan or the head coach at SW Tech. Be ready to roll when you get to the big time.

Two years ago we saw Miles "learn" that a co-defensive coordinator system doesn't work (the rest of us knew that already). Last year we saw him "learn" how to manage the clock late in games, and now we are seeing him learn how to deal with qb recruits who are 1st round mlb picks.

You may enjoy watching Miles learn and grow before your eyes.

I just want to see him succeed.

Hey Einstein, don't you think it would of been smart to have some sort of backup plan? I think that's the point of this guys post!

Bama has two young guys being groomed for the future. LSU doesn't. This is my main concern.

Please don't put UF on that list. Had Shepard gone to UF he'd be a Percy Harvin clone. Our coaches are too stupid to see that!

Lets assume that R Shep could be a college QB the decision was made to move him to WR after the season.

Folks, I am sure most of us here are huge LSU fans win or lose. I can't see pissing away entire seasons on issues that WE pay large to be dealt with. If we go down fighting, thats cool we'll meet again. But if we lose or are losing on account of poor management IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY to air our displeasure. Don't call it crying....

Really? Why? No one else did. Its not like he was constantly getting in trouble in high school.

Do you have any idea the meltdown that would've ensued had Miles not gone after the #1 player in the country in his own backyard?

So do you know what was said behind closed doors?

You every thought that maybe, just maybe, Miles is so secretive and convoluted with everything he says and does because he is insecure about his mental shortcomings that would be exposed if the public/media actually knew all the facts?

They guy has a "TERRRRRBLE" time answering to the mistakes that happen game in and out on the field that he can't hide, but he damn suure tries to bumble his way through the post game interviews without saying, "I frickED UP AND I"M THE RETARD"?
