3<6... I'll take that stat every day that ends in Y. You can't block every kick or control how good the other kicker is.

I agree, just showing how incredibly unlucky we were.

Teams were 7/8 on FGs against us from 41-51 yards out. 18 for 18 inside 41 yards...That's nuts in college.

Guys, think about red zone FG %. If teams aren't scoring TDs, they are kicking a lot of short FGs.

And in our case, literally hitting every single one of them

If Aranda ends up at Bama one day, I'm done with SEC football.

Best program hire since Saban. Unfortunate that this years defense will remind people of the 2013 offense--All that talent/production and no hardware. **debbie downer** Here's to it all finally coming together next year. **half glass full harry**

d shame that effort against Bama will largely be forgotten, they damn near pitched a perfect game until they just ran out of gas.

Hopefully every defensive coach, as well as O, is picking the shite out of the brain of Aranda. When he's gone if they can continue to mimick the way he does things then that would be great. If saddens me to know that we only have 1, 2 years tops, left with him.

I think everybody knew he was a really good defensive coordinator, but he took those expectations and far exceeded them.

I'm excited for next year, just because of him and Canada. Duke Riley was literally a nobody before Aranda. He wouldn't have had near the type of season he had without him. I have zero doubt he will do the same with the players we have waiting to play on this roster.

I'm willing to make a bet that Aranda fields a better redzone D than that one in his next 3 years.

It's just begun boys

one of the best defensive performances in LSU history...the adams interception in bama territory in the first quarter equating to zero points...stoping hurts on 4th and goal...causing a 3rd quarter fumble...holding a team that average over 40 PPG scoreless through 3 quarters....damn shame indeed.

Miles for 2 losses mane. Bama is bama. Florida was the one that hurt. Jackson and guice fkd us hard that game. People put it on O or etling, but this was a case of 2 players killing us

And this is with the second half collapse against A&M, which still bothers Aranda. WOW!

I'm not sure where it finished, but opposing kickers were 12 of 12, or close to, in FGs against LSU after the AU game. That's a pretty insane stat for college.

So you are saying our Special teams are special, got it.....

While true, it doesnt mean they have to make every FG they attempt

Well, in all honesty, since '04, we had a lot of luck, in missed kicks. Just ask Oregon State, Auburn, and Bama.
