Some of those were holding. Most of them were not.

Not all of these are holding. For example, the 4th from the top is legal as long as the other hand isn't holding.

I saw the same exact thing called on Clapp against Ole Miss... but not this weekend.

Btw, I noticed all their lineman wore pure white tape or gloves (or the best I could tell). No pattern, no color. White on white works against us. They don't always do that. In fact, many wore black against Vandy.

You need to get over the fact that we didnt lose because of officiating.

This is without a doubt the most pathetic post I’ve seen.

The one that gets me is when Lacouture was trying to make the tackle and the gump was pulling on his right arm.

that one and maybe 1 other on Key stuck out to me as "how can you not call that!" type holds.

Honestly, Jenkins has our guys using their hands much better now. It makes it harder for them to hold "effectively". In the past if a DL vs OL battle went static, the OL had the advantage in creases AND hand placement. Our DL wouldn't let them "rest" their hands constantly chopping or prying them away.

Bama is using arm bars more, but keeping their hands in fists. We are using the same on the DL to create imbalance.

Do you feel embarrassed? I don't.

You're too emotional

LSU had five

Only because the game was not that close. If LSU had scored the TD instead of the FG, they would have had a lot more penalties. The refs were able to take it easy.

They get the assist for Bama's first TD. If the tackle on Key was called Bama would have punted.

I hate these sanctimonous answers. Why the fricking hell do we have to accept this . BAMA had one penalty, LSU had five, thats an 80% imbalance. If both teams hold then call it on both teams.

Fair or not, the better team usually gets the benefit of the doubt from the refs.

Be better, execute better, and the refs will tend to believe you're doing things correctly on those 50/50 calls.

OP, find a life and step away from the keyboard. This is a complete and total embarrassment to the LSU fan base.

Weren't most of ours false starts? You can dismiss those in your imbalance calculations. Easy, obvious calls.

Most of the pics don't show holding, and you usually can't tell from a still shot anyway. OL can pancake DL, there were a couple in the OP. OL can push DL using his inertia, and many of those are shown in the OP.

Thread sucks. The refs were fine on Saturday.

Nope, I watched the Ark-UF game in 2009 and the Patrick Peterson interception LSU-Bama game. A two loss team is not going to beat an unbeaten team in the SEC. It aint gonna happen.

I'm not crying about anything. I am smart enough to realize that if needed, the refs would have become heavily involved in the game, just like the above gif.

You mean like when the defensive lineman has beaten his man and is about to get a sack and the offensive lineman horse collars him or hooks him just enough to allow Hurts to scramble free. Again, this is sanctimony at its finest. You are essentially saying LSU must play a perfect game and if they don't they deserve to be hosed by the officials. Meanwhile the supposedly superior team can fail to execute but bend the rules to save their arse simply because they are the better team. So why play the game?
