Sorry but many tech fans have same penis envy as ULL fans.
Tech has a much better CFB resume than ULL but that’s it.

Yeah, my daughter goes to Tech and I am from N Louisiana, I have never seen a person up there pull against LSU.

Of course they want their team to play well. But never seen one person up there act like ULL fans.

Its pretty simple, from a forum standpoint. Thats the only part I look at.

Every LA Tech fan I've met has also been an LSU fan. ULM fans are cool too. For some reason ULL fans are insufferable jealous little shits who drive around with bama stickers on their cars.

As a former Tech undergrad, there was a lot of anti LSU while I was there. I half-hearted got into it, but never really could truly be ANTI-LSU. But having been there, I think there's a difference.

ULL is pissy and little-brotherly. It's just obnoxious; there's no realism. A sense of entitlement maybe? Tech has more of a middle finger attitude. It's more love of being a Tech fan and less hating LSU for stealing the spotlight. Tech knows it's a smaller school. It's about proportional intensity and knowing that we can compete with any school on any given Saturday, though we couldn't do it every week. We know we may never get a shot at winning the natty in D1 (we've done it at D2 a few times before moving up), or at least while in a non-P5 conference. But ULL acts like they're entitled to it, or have already won a national championship or something.

ULL thinks of themselves as accomplished royalty. Tech thinks of themselves as scrappy, talented, and as good as anyone else on any given occasion. The delusions are not quite the same.

This is partly guesswork because I know of ULL only tangentially. I don't care enough about them to even pay attention to them. Tech is pretty much indifferent to everyone except LSU to that extent and ULM because of the I-20 rivalry. Otherwise, we just do us.

Eh. Boise State came close, and we were in the WAC together for years. If Tech beats ANM (lost by two points to Johnny football) in Shreveport in 2012 and wins the last three games (inexplicable losses, other than that we lost our bye week because of the hurricane that year and rescheduled ANM to Shreveport on our bye week, which the players said physically drained them by season's end), we end up much higher than being ranked 21st, where we were that year.

Not saying a school Tech's size can replicate the success consistently, but if we'd ever win the big game and finish out, we could shoot for a rose bowl or something...that one time, that one magical season like Northwestern did in the '90s.

From there too. In my experience, the vast vast majority of ULM and Tech fans are also big LSU fans. There's a vocal minority of their fans that are annoyed by this and call out their brethren and the local community for going to LSU games, watching LSU games, supporting LSU, etc. instead of supporting ULM/Tech more, but it's a very small group.
