I live in north AL. Herbie & Finebaum are both douches. They have to shake Finebaum off Saban's balls when Bama plays a game. Herbie ought find a new occupation!

Come on guys, let's not be a bunch of blind homers. Mett isn't some 18 year old kid fresh out of high school. He's been in UGA's program, a year of JC, and now in his second year in our program. True, he doesn't have a lot of D-1 experience, but he should've been able to ramp up very, very quickly and shouldn't be a "work in progress." Unfortunately, although he's shown flashes, he's only been average, with some very bad turnovers especially in the red zone. Overall he's been ok, but let's just be honest and say he's not what we were hoping for (which I admit - our expectations were through the roof).

Mett seems only "serviceable" to you because you are disappointed that he isn't Joe Montana. Perhaps the correct order of operations is to first wait and see how he plays, before anointing him anything, then observe without hyperbole.

Sounds lie there is a valuable lesson here for you and so many other fans: Stop believing that your expectations, that you've forced into your brain, are any indication of reality. Just watch the game and fill your ego's need to seek fulfillment through dominance, elsewhere.

However, our D is more than enough to stop everyone left on our schedule to < 14 points.
