Well most of the wide receivers that left, left because of Les Miles' stone age offense and virtually all of the offensive line players that left, left because they weren't good enough to play, except for Teuhuma who left just because he is a dick.
Moreover, while our recruiting classes were ranked high, they were ranked high because of skill positions. However, the truth is we have missed on a lot of good lineman in the past few years and without any good lineman we can't compete. That's hardly O's fault. He hasn't even been the head coach a whole year yet. That's his predecessor's fault.

A & C. It was time for Miles to go, but it sure as hell wasn't time to hire a guy who had a 10 win 25 loss head coaching career.
Alleva fricked this hire up big time, and coach o has fricked up everything he's touched since the season started. His coaches and players deserve some of the blame, but o is the head man. It all falls on his shoulders.

Wasn't O in charge of recruiting while he was working for Les Miles? Isn't O's specialty coaching the D line? There is literally no excuse explaining why LSU got dominated on the lines by a freaking sunbelt team. A sunbelt team was daring us to stop the run up the middle and LSU couldn't do it. This team is not playing hard for coach O plain and simple. There is no reason playing hard for a coach that looks like a lost child trying to find his mom on the sideline. Expect more players to mail it in once Florida hits them in the mouth next weekend.

It's already been a fricked up season, and it could really get ugly starting next weekend.
But hey, it's not coach o's fault. he hasn't even been the head coach for a year. the cupboard is bare. He's done everything he could. His hands are clean. If you don't believe me, ask Space Clownboy, he'll give you the straight scoop on how great o is.

All of our perception it seems.

O is the easy/shortsighted answer. But it's the wrong one too.
Les Miles is the reason this team has so many holes in it. Although this will get hate, it's also Frank Wilson's fault too. He checked out a year or two before he left. He was looking for a head coaching gig and finally got one. Instead of filing our needs, he added more highly ranked skill position players rather than much needed linemen. And the linemen we did get were high risk/raw/highly rated. Most transferred, leaving us/O/LSU with what we see now.
It is Alleva's fault for not firing Miles after the A&M game.
I'm not an O defender by any means, but our fans will be wanting Herman's head too if he was hired. This team needs serious help personnel-wise and I'd like to at least give O a year before I want his head on a platter. But with our fans that's impossible and we get what we deserve. This negativity will kill any chance of us landing stud players in the 2019 class, which is considered to be the best in-state class in decades.
I'm finally starting to understand why LSU never lands their top choices for HC, even with all the money, facilities, recruiting grounds. We have the worst fan base in America.

We were lucky to get him next time around, but Alleva tried to sabotage that season.
This is exactly how I've felt. The Chavis contract, the leaking of firing Les with 3 sec games left in 15, then doubling down and doing it 4 games into 16. He essentially sabotaged two seasons.

Yeah, for one year. However, he didn't call the shots. He wasn't the head coach. He worked for him. Not to mention, that the problems we are experiencing took more than one year to create. You are reaching retard.

Where was Rashard Lawrence retard? Where was Frank Herron? They weren't full strength again retard. If that is coach O's fault, then explain how?
The other lineman is a redshirt freshman and two true freshman coach O recruited last season. Oh yeah, there is a senior also who historically hasn't played much. Nonetheless, again why is that coach O's fault. He hasn't been the head coach a year yet?

Because of lack of quality depth, thanks to recruiting, it's not O's fault that when our starters are out we are not as good. I remember back in the day when LSU rotated 9 linemen every game. However, we can't do that today because of recruiting. Again, you can't legitimately blame that on a head coach who has been the head coach for less than a year, unless you are a retard.

You mean there is no reason for you to continue to be a retard, but you nevertheless do. Nonetheless, all of our problems stem from O's predecessor who no one will touch today with a ten-foot pole.
quote:

None of the players are retarded like you, so none of them are going anywhere. However, we get Rashard Lawrence back and I can't remember if Herron is back too. Nonetheless, with Lawrence, who is the leader they will be stronger. Doesn't mean we'll beat them because we still don't have enough lineman to rotate. However, you retard, you can't blame that on a head coach that has been the head coach for under a year.
Not to mention, that O has two of the best coordinators working for him with the track records to back it up. Thus I'm not retarded enough to believe like you obviously believe that they suddenly forgot how to coach and were instead trying to destroy their elite coaching records and long-term coaching careers.
Do me a favor, next time you see your momma, slap her in the face because she obviously dropped you on your head when you were a baby.

Each get 25% blame.
Miles.
Jindal.
FKA.
Alleva.
Not blaming O quite yet. Still too early, but it's going south very quickly. (Should've hired a new OL Coach and made better hires at the WR & OLB positions) Some coaches just don't possess all the qualifications needed to be a Head Coach in the SEC, no matter how well they can recruit or how good they were as a position coach.

Jindal. Two titles in the 5 years before Jindal and none during his term. He wanted to destroy public education in Louisiana, defund LSU and privatize the LSU hospital system. It was planned. He staffed the Board of Supervisors with people who have no connection to LSU. At one point the Board was run by a woman who didn't even have a college degree. They met on game day to discuss cutting LSU's budget.
Then, after a few good years of football, legislature and Board mandated that athletics start 'giving back'. After that point we never played in a single BCS game and never made the playoffs. But ticket prices skyrocketed, parking and tailgating became monetized. That killed it. Downvote it, ignore it, delete or don't like it but it's true.
We can blame F King and Alleva all we want, but they are there for a reason. They aren't LSU guys either.

What's with the obsession of arguing over the "one" thing? And it's not complicated. We all know Les was steering the ship downward. Alleva's incompetence led us to O's incompetence.
It is a true mental gymnast that thinks Les Miles was "steering the ship downward".
