I think at times this is legitimate, but he’s been bad consistently enough to just say he’s not good right now.

I just don't know who you'd replace him with.

My guess would be Safford

Worth at try. He should've had that last one.

Y'all don't know who to replace him with?

I know coach promised bianco he'd play SS, but he needs to go back to the kid and tell him to go play 3b. Leave arnold at SS and let Dugas with Safford battle for DH.

I know we have options....Safford, bianco, thompson

Playing a pitcher out of position obviously isn't the answer

If you want to get Bianco some at bats why not put him at the 3rd the position he was recruited to play. Instead you start a pitcher with no reps at third and start Bianco at short and then move him to CF.
PM thinks is so clever, but is just ruining the kids confidence.

He didn't look good, that is for sure. He may end up being solid though. We'll see. Time for a change for the short term, that is obvious IMO.

Game two. Paul always experiments in the non-con games. It will get worked out by the meat of the season.

Not going to blame the kid. However this story is not unique and shows a much larger underlying issue with the program.

How do you have kids on your team that recruited for multiple years and be unaware of their skill sets and previous positions?

He didn't look comfortable at the plate either. Might be best for him to focus on pitching and be an emergency (Covid) sub for the infield.

I’m gonna guess he won’t be our 3rd baseman come SEC play. Early non-conference games are when you try to find out what you’ve got as far as “real” games go..not intrasquad BS
