It’s a softball park with shitty lighting
Pre renovation their stadium is/was a dump

Not the berm tent seating

Care to talk about anything else? Their renovated stadium will be better than the box. Period

WOW, that's impressive! 100 million to build a max capacity 3,000+ less than LSU averages per game.

LSU doesn’t avarage 11k per game
Maybe maybe they average 9k actual fans for SEC games only, maybe
They will have 8k seated and 9,600 total capacity. That’s more than plenty for 99% of college games

LSU fans constantly bitch about The Box (and everything else). But when non-LSU fans go to and rank stadiums, The Box is always near the top.
great, Tennessee will have a cute little stadium that only holds 3/4 of what Alex Box holds.
And if they hold on to win tonight, they will have 1/7th the amount we do.

A school like Tennessee was a complete afterthought for college baseball history
Now, they are spending 100 million for a stadium and have a top young coach.
The game has changed and we need to stay ahead of it

How much money are you putting towards LSU baseball for improvements?
How much even for tickets?
I'm guessing a big fat zero.

LSU sells 10k plus per game.
for the entire season.
98% of the country could only sell that many if they borrowed an MLB Stadium and played the Red Sox.

Have season tickets. Why are we ok with LSU building things on the cheap and falling behind? Why is it “manly” or “cool” to accept how lsu and Louisiana in general does that?

LSU sells 10k plus per game.
A stadium with a capacity of 9k would be fine for 99% of even lsu baseball games. I’m not sure why people think Tennessee or anyone else for that matter should build bigger

so what’s the problem?
you want LSU to just say “frick it, we don’t want that extra half a mil per season that we get for selling them. we’d rather it look full”?

First stadium in America where each seat comes with a spittoon.

The business side I understand, from a fans perspective I would much rather quality over quantity and it isn’t a question

LSU is one of the only profitable baseball programs. Other teams should take note. Yes it would make a lot of sense if you want to turn a profit.

Do you think lsu basketball should build a 20k arena with our rebuild like Rupp is?

Well that’s a little dramatic. All I said was that it works for LSU lol.
