Qbs:
Watson
Mayfield
Kizer
Barrett
Kelly

Rbs:
Fournette
McCafferey
Chubb
Cook
Freeman

Probably the deepest race ever. These are just the guys we know of. Probably add Mahomes and Baylor Qb Russell or Stidham. Bama starting rb, probably Scarbotough. Rosen from UCLA. Heisman will be very divided next year. Fournette may get the benefit for his "lifetime" achievement type numbers a la Dayne. He should be chasing legendary numbers with another 2,000 yard season.

Heisman...

As useless as a State of the Union address from this administration. A lot of pomp and circumstance without any substance.

Figure out the 4 best teams and their perceived best players. That will give you 75% of your finalist, regardless of performance

Why is Barrett on this list? Because Bama? I mean it isn't like we talked Jake Coker up for the award.

Ward from Houston. Should be on the list

With LF7 rushing in 3 more games than last year he should get about 2,500 yards.

It's very unfortunate but this past seasons race was way easier than next years will be

We need to make the playoffs for LF to get it IMO

Kizer for ND
Barrett for Ohio State
Watson for Clemson
Mayfield for Oklahoma
Kelly for Ole Miss

Fournette for LSU
McCafferey for Stanford
Cook for FSU
Freeman for Oregon
Chubb for Grorgia

That should cover a majority of the playoff.

For LF to have any chance at the not so meaningful Heismann trophy, they will have to win the SEC championship next year and be a playoff team IMO.
Deshawn Watson should have won the trophy this past year, with the passing and running ability he has.
He can and will play at the next level successfully at QB, but there are many worthy players deserving at winning the trophy as much or more than LF next year.

This shite is useless. This past season should have been a lesson for everyone. The Heisman has no leader until November is over.

JT Barrett also may not even be the starter next year for Alabama, not to mention he was terrible when he played this year

Guice will probably get more carries next season so that doesn't help Fournette's chances.

I started the topic because I just think it will be one of the more interesting races with such a deep Qb and rb class. It's more about the talent all over the nation.

I can state 100% that JT Barrett will not be the starting QB for Alabama next season.

Kizer won't even be the starter at ND.

He put up serious numbers all year and consider Zaire has started only a few games in his career. They can both run and pass. ND Qb will put up big numbers whether it's Kizer or Zaire and if they sniff top 4, their Qb will be up for it. Kizer is a better passer and more complete Qb. I think he wins it.
