Are you suggesting Orgeron should somehow try to force Stingley to come back to play this season?

No dipshit. Your lack of reading comprehension indicates the value of a public school education.

Time to take a break from 7 and 18…also it’s a problem with the head coach when your best players aren’t interested in playing. Chase, Vincent, Marshall, Shelvin, now Stingley…

He's a pretty good football player.... so no need to work at a paper mill.

You freaking said it brother. If you go back and look at all of o's recruiting classes, the one constant is the highest ranked players always quit or transfer

How selfish of him to get surgery instead of playing through an injury. Doesn’t he know his amateur career is on the line?

Let’s be honest here. The fuel to this fire is his dad coming out and saying that he could shut him down if he wants to.

Without knowing the injury, it’s difficult to comment. If it’s lis franc, that’s one thing, if it’s a badly sprained ankle, it’s another.

I wonder how opting out impacts NIL dollars if at all? I am sure there is a contractual agreement on both sides.

Welllll you can't get any better sauce than that can you?

Reason enough for the usual parasites to come out and shite on an LSU player.

Don’t worry. Stingley Sr said he might be back next year that decision hasn’t been made yet…

100% the right decision if there’s a worthy injury. People bash a top 10 pick who helped us win a natty, whose coach has turned LSU into a punching bag. Why risk major injury to a program with our trajectory the last two years. Whatever culture O created post 19 is weak and hasn’t trended well.

Now I’ll admit , possibly due to injury, Stingley hasn’t been the alpha dog leader you’d hoped over the last season and a half.

His actual play and contribution to the program is the only relevant thing here, not some accolades given to him by the media or the fact that he’s going to be highly drafted and paid.

If this is really it for him, it’s an extreme letdown given his potential. If he was healthy this year and made some splash plays, he could have been a heisman finalist.

If so, he will have played less than 50% of his games in 3 years. NFL won’t pay you 10 mill a year for that sort of production.
