Reece on ESPN almost appears the lone exception, he needs to get that butthurt healed. However don’t know for how long the healing would last, Kelly is sure to give Reece more of the same hurt next season too. Imagine that, someone from Bama not wanting LSU in?

If we beat #1 UGA in Georgia we will have wins over 3 top 10 teams (including Ole Miss) since we lost to Tennessee.

The committee is looking at who the best team is NOW, not in September. They take improvement and injuries into account.

We are currently #6. We would then beat #1 and be SEC champs. We'd get in.

I don't think we'll win so it doesn't really matter, but we'd be in. I'm just happy we're having this conversation.

Can I tell you a secret?

It's going to work itself out. That's the secret.

A.) We will lose to Georgia and none of this will even matter OR

B.) TCU will take an L OR

C.) USC will take an L ... or

D.) They will BOTH take an L.

My Prediction:

#1 Georgia 13-0 SEC Champs
#2 Ohio State 13-0 Big 10 Champs
#3 Tennessee 11-1
#4 Clemson 12-1 ACC Champs

#5 TCU Big 12 12-1 Champs
#6 Michigan 11-1
#7 Oregon 11-2 Pac 12 Champs

I think in your scenario they put in TCU over Clemson. I think Oregon is better than both of them tho

Only with Bama fans, if that makes any difference. Something about LSU having to beat the same SEC team back to back, when Alabama never earned that right.

The odds that LSU wins the SECCG are long indeed. Those odds become nil if Daniels cannot play his position as it need be done.

Didn’t they do it just last year?

A lot of football to play. It really doesn’t matter at this point.

All of this. Talking heads need something to talk about but at the end of the day, if we win out we are in. We’ve earned it as a team and quite frankly the SEC has earned it as a league. Might sound corny but it absolutely means more. .

At this time of year the only reporter who matters is Heather Dinich. And she thinks we make the CFP if we win out.

My problem with this whole discussion is if you use consistent logic to put in all 4 teams i don't know how you leave out a 2 loss SEC champ

if you say conference championships matter, and put in 1 loss pac 10, ACC champs, then you can't discount LSU who won theirs and put in the team they just beat or Tenn who didn't even make it and loss to the team you left out in UGA

If conference championships don't matter all that much, then no way an ACC or Pac 12 team deserves to be in.

That was a selection of four teams, not just two in the BCS.

IF LSU wins its next three games, how could you put another SEC team in but exclude the Tigers? Makes no sense.

I don’t think he was saying that Oregon would get in. He was saying he thinks they’re a better team, despite the fact that they’d likely get left out.
