Oh wait, McMahon won a road game with 100 people in the stands against a fellow bottom feeder today. Am I supposed to like him now? Give him an extension?

Is that what you take from this thread?

He should’ve on the list of soft feelers the AD should’ve putting out there. I like Tony Skinn, he’s put together a few good seasons at George mason. But he may be harder to pry away from his Alma mater than the average mid major coach

I like Tony Skinn, I see what Bucky ball is doing at A&M and I think he could get the right players for his style without having the top recruits. It’s aggressive, and there is a lot of action which I think tiger fans might like.

I’ll take just about any other DI coach over McMahon. Just get someone else in here please.

this is the kind of bullshite statement you can make and when he doesn’t come here you can lean on saying LSU didn’t want him.

I guess we’ll see you cop out with that excuse when he doesn’t come here.

No that's not necessary, but is it required to ALWAYS be a dick?

I’ll make whatever statement I want to make.

However it is quite funny watching you squeal when people prove you wrong (happens all the time)

I’ve been advocating for him for weeks.

18 years as a head coach. 8 seasons with 20-29 victories. 7 seasons with 30+ victories. 1 losing season. 1 .500 season.

Proven winner at multiple schools. Much better resume than CMM.

CMM was a highly regarded coach before accepting the LSU job. Do LSU fans really want to go down this street again?

McMahon had a better record that Todd Golden. In fact, McMahon had just beat Golden in the NCAAT. I'd venture to guess Florida fans aren't upset about going down the "mid-major" road. Neither are Vandy fans...or (at least for the moment) A&M fans.

LSU chose poorly when they hired McMahon. He was a guy that simply wasn't fit for this job. He didn't want to interact with donors to a significant degree or promote the program. He also wanted to build a program in the same manner the Murray St. program was built...despite the fact (A) LSU is not Murray St and (B) the game totally changed with NIL/freedom of transfer.

But that doesn't mean no mid-major HC could have great success at LSU.
