I didn't mean to imply that all older people feel that way.

I am not really offended, I am sooo laughing at the arbitrary age you picked out, though, for the stereotypical "crotchety" old person.....

oh, I only said 42 because if you click on that guy's profile it says he was born in 1968.

And I feel a person can be crotchety at 20, 30, or 42. It's just that it usually doesn't happen until after 60!!!

I heard that sometimes the players wear white socks with their suits and I find that utterly disgusting. I think the coaches should make sure that they are all color coordinated.

I think Jamarcus Russell started that trend at LSU.

For the time being, THIS IS THEIR JOB. They represent LSU- it is their "firm", and the fans are the "shareholders". If an employee went into a business meeting wearing a f-ing set of headphones listening to the latest rap tunes, he'd probably get his arse fired sooner rather than later. It shows a blatant lack of seriousness, dicipline, and respect- just my opinion.

The shareholders deserve better. Just as we would have them wear proper attire, we should have them lay down the MP3 players for 15 minutes while meeting the fans. This is not the NFL.

I genuinely hate morons like you that think these kids owe you something. If LSU players get amped by listening to Hitler rally speeches and it makes them want to crush Nazi skulls, so be it. For frick's sake, man, get it together.

Get what together?

I gave an opinion, and you obviously disgree with the opinion I gave.

Well, so what? I'll live.

I guess I should also mention that I don't "hate" you- or anyone else on this board. Nope- don't even know you. That's another one of those words that gets thrown around waaay too much around here.

So chill out, jalapeño.

god forbid they wear headphones, and the possibility the music might actually be turned on at a low volume is despicable.

I want you to picture walking down victory hill with thousands of Tiger Fans cheering for you listening to this Hero of the Day

Tell me that wouldn't get you jacked. You can hear the roar of fans over headphones. Should they stop and shake eveyone's hand before the game too and personally thank them for coming to the game?

I have no problem with that, Bill. I wasn't referring to pre-game activities, anyway.

All of this is just my opinion, though. I fully realize that if it were put to a vote, my opinion would probably get trounced, anyway.....

Fan day is different, they're expected to talk and interact with fans, that's the point

Standing on stage at some pep rally waving their hands once or twice isn't the same
