I hate only having two scholly QB's on the team... that DOES suck

We'll be fine. If Jennings and Harris both go down with injuries, our season is shot anyway. Rob Bolden could step in and at least run an offense if forced to. If we find ourselves in that position, we aren't competing for a conference or national title. Bring in a 2015 QB and two again in 2016. The writing was on the wall for Rettig.

There is no reason Rettig isn’t starting over Jennings or Harris. He’s a pocket passer but he isn’t as bad as that statue Mettenberger, and he has more chest than that punk Gunner Kiel. Hell if Cam Cameron had any balls he would tell Les Miles to stay the hell out of his offense. He sure as hell is better than JJ and JL ever where! If Saban was still running things he would be starting! Alleva should have stepped in years ago and replaced Miles hell and while he was at it he should have fired Javi! Hell it’s not like that crap is going to be ready in time anyway! I mean we managed to keep and start bums Jamie Howard and always crippled Harvard washouts like Andrew Hatch. Why can’t this program give a future star like Rettig a fair shot at starting! It’s because he’s white…and everybody knows Miles is racist and only plays black QB’s!

This really sucks, we can't build qb depth for the life of us. I wanted Jennings to start and play well so Harris could take a red shirt and have 3 qbs with a class between each other but tat is sit now. Why can't any of these kids just be cool with being a backup?
We have to take a QB now in '15, which we are super late on. Torrance Gibson is the only uncommitted guy we have offered I believe. The qbs tend to commit early. The plan was to take 2 in '16 so this screws us pretty badly.

He was a highly rated recruit coming out of high school. Granted, they all don't pan out that way, but why waste away a couple of years of your life knowing you'll probably never see the field when you can go somewhere else and have a legit shot?
We all knew it was either going to be Harris or Jennings. Rettig was never going to factor in, and if the other two did go down and he got to play, the team was in a lot of trouble anyways.
