This is the kind of adversity we need to find the right lineup and the players we can depend on.
Nothing that happens this early in the season will define what this team can accomplish by the end of the season. I think this is good for them.

LSU tweets the batters bat speed is 106+. I asked them how many runs does LSU scores with two outs? Never got a response.

I wouldn’t replace the Jordans hitting now. My only question centers on the fact that we do almost zero creatively on the bases and hitting. Our situational hitting is almost nil. Do we bunt ever (I know we have, but barely). We put almost zero pressure on a defense. 11 runners on base and nothing. That just doesn’t seem sound to me and I played some in college.

If you can't score runs then you can't fricking hit. Being a good hitter is about more than hitting safely.

Even the most optimistic baseball fan has to be somewhat concerned with this club. Hess, your ace, gave up 3 dingers to Hawaii. Let that sink in. The clutch hitting speaks for itself.
