If so, it would be a huge change in our prospects.

If we have a one run lead in the 9th tomorrow, you'll see Peterson. He really enjoyed that role tonight. He was hitting 95 and threw 9 of 11 for strikes.

He has the stuff.
He’s getting the command.
He is starting to show some fire.

I've got to admit, it's a small sample size but tonight he reminded me a lot of Hess last year.

Lord, I hope so. He was good last year, early, but got too fat & lazy.
Rebounded this year as a starter and wasn't effective. Really felt bad for him.
But, he has been good out of the pen, lately. Hope he's not in the doghouse, too?

Sure have but he is the Friday night starter. But I will say it’s nice for Peterson to find a role on this pitching staff. Not all pitchers are meant to be starters or long relievers. Some guys are “one time through the line up guys” and there is nothing wrong with that. I’m pulling for the young man. He has way too many tools to not find a spot on this staff somewhere. You can teach a kid cutters, sliders, curveballs, but you can’t teach 95 mph. That is gifted talent

That clip is an instant classic!

Nice gif, knew he was fired up, but couldn't see that from down the 3rd base line.

It is. I don’t post a ton, but I’m around. Just like talking baseball.

Sorry man. I’m sure he is a great person but he just shouldn’t be pitching for LSU

He was pretty pumped tonight and rightfully so. I guess we see Labas tomorrow as starter.

Peterson and Bain will be the closers going forward.

The problem is when he’s good, he’s really good.
But when he’s bad, he’s terrible. Remember, he gave up 4 runs
in 2 innings last week against Ole Miss. He has great stuff, but
no consistency at all
