I've actually been to Bayeaux and seen the tapestry as well as all the more recent stuff....

With the World War II Museum being in Nola, I hope more people would know what's up. I have been to France on numerous occasions but not to Normandy (on my bucket list as my grandfather was critically wounded there). Instead I visited Patton's grave in Luxembourg one 4th of July (usually with a tour group). I had other people with me and Normandy was much further away. Next time I guess.
