At this point, I think it’s fair to say Tennessee and Ole Miss, the sanctimonious bastards, are at the top of the rivalry list….

Brennon Chapman wasn’t retained on the Ole Miss staff when Kiffin took over and works at a Hyundai dealership now.

Except no one can point to a rule LSU has broken in this case.

Secondly, Bama played a former NBA player.

Texas rostered a former NFL player.

These are two things LSU never did.

LSU simply followed the court order and ultimately decided to pass on the two players. Neither ever signed with or were ever rostered by LSU.

Make this hypocrisy make sense!

Quick google search. Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house. They all got rap sheets.

Major Infractions and Investigations Timeline for Ole Miss
2012–2013: The NCAA opens an inquiry into the women's basketball and track and field programs, which eventually expands to uncover recruiting and compliance violations within the football program.
2015: Eligibility issues and extra-benefit allegations emerge surrounding star offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil, leading to his temporary withholding from competition.
January 2016: The NCAA delivers a formal Notice of Allegations detailing 28 rules violations across football, women's basketball, and track and field, including multiple severe Level I charges.July 2017: Head football coach Hugh Freeze resigns after university officials discover a pattern of personal misconduct through his phone records. Ole Miss self-imposes a 2017 bowl ban.
December 2017: The NCAA Committee on Infractions issues its final ruling, citing the university for a "lack of institutional control" and imposing a two-year postseason bowl ban (including the 2018 season), three years of probation, and scholarship reductions.
February 2019: Ole Miss announces it must vacate 33 football wins spanning six seasons (2010–2016) as the final penalty for fielding ineligible players during the Nutt and Freeze eras.Recent Minor and Ongoing Violations
2024–2025: Ole Miss reports standard Level III (minor) breaches. This includes firing three student equipment managers and dismissing a men's tennis player for unauthorized sports wagering on online applications.
May 2026: The NCAA formally opens a tampering investigation focused on Ole Miss football staff (specifically defensive coordinator/coach Pete Golding) following official complaints from Clemson regarding the recruitment of linebacker Luke Ferrelli.
