Nope, but I give him credit for winning a big game. If he turns it around I’ll give him credit for that too but it’s only one game.

No. I don’t think he’s an SEC calibur head coach.

Prove me wrong, Ed.

I have said this before but I will say it again...

Most of the angst I have is towards Alleva...

For me, the jury is out on O until he has had 3 full years at the helm.. At that point we should (and will) have a much better handle on where he has the program headed.

Having said that... This was a good win!

but I want to see at least half of a season to see where we are and really want to see how the entire season plays out.
It's so ironic that the majority of the rational posters on this site kept suggesting that we wait an see how it played before declaring O a bust. Now with a solid start to the season, all of the vocal negatigers are suggesting the same approach.

Welcome aboard, I guess. But it doesn't fix the negativity and ruined this board the entire offseason and may have even hurt recruiting to some small degree.

After one game?

That's silly.

I'm glad we won but you'll have to forgive me if I let the season play out.

Hiring him was moronic in the extreme. There is no rational argument for having hired him.

But, some "great" hires don't pan out and, every now and then, a dumb decision works.

Anyone that thinks a bunch of highschool kids read this site, much less are actually affected by anything said here, is just plain silly.

I've been preaching the wait and see approach all summer. Check the post history if you like. But, may wanna get your facts straight.

I wish people would stop with this stupid shite. If negativity on message boards hurt recruiting at all, Les Miles never would have gotten a top 10 class, much less perennial top 10 classes. Get out of here with that nonsense.

No. Foot came off the gas way too early last night, and while they didn't get close enough, they could have. I want a coach to doesn't ever let up in the 3rd against a decent team. Only do that against the Southeasterns of the world.

I did like the going for it on 4th calls. I like giving the kid a chance at the 54 yarder. 1st down play calling was mostly predictable, but a few adjustments were good. Also not his fault guys dropped passes or that the O line was a sieve most of the night.

Wasn't referring to just you. You have been more balanced. Now though, the majority of the Nega mantra is "One game, let's wait an see how this unfolds".

Also, I didn't claim that it's hurt recruiting, but raised the possibility that it could. Do you think that all of this infighting and people at each other's throats helps the program? At a minimum, it's made this board miserably unreadable at times. Not the honest discussion. Rather the relentless hijacking and bashing.

And you can check my post history. I'm no CheeriO. I wasn't thrilled with the hire, but was and still am willing to give him his shot.

So Canada wasn’t his hire now?

you clearly are clueless, or you dont follow LSU and just post here for drama because O was hired under the condition LSU was hiring a top level OC and O could not have ensminger.

that was what the whole clusterfrick with last years debacle, canada felt he didnt have to answer to O because O wasnt his boss since he didnt hire him or have the power to fire him.

geez you are dumb
