There is no scenario that makes sense to hire Frank as HC
He is not in Coach O territory and certainly not in the elite coach territory

So, let me get this straight. The real,true LSU fans who know what is best for LSU are hoping Alabama wins 56-0 Saturday?
This is reminds me of the 10 or so guys who hated Orgeron so much they never could even enjoy the 2019 season. Fortunately most of them no longer post here.

Your opposition to the “interim bump” is an emotional one. On the field results should matter, and if he over 3 weeks wins at Bama, Ark, and at OU he deserves the look. There will have been film out there by the OU game, so that excuse is gone. I’ll give in to your interim bump bs for the first game, emotions running high. But multiple road top 10 wins can’t really be explained away imo. Ended up replying again but I’m done after this one. Again, if you’re rooting against LSU at any point in time you can get the frick out of this fanbase.

I love how in this one thread you'll have a poster saying there's no chance Wilson is named head coach and nobody wants that and it'll followed up by 2 posters who say Wilson should be considered with a good showing

it’s the opposite actually.
rallying the troops in a moment of adversity to go play above their heads for a short time is great. it is not at all indicative of the ability to run a program for years where those kind of short term emotional surges aren’t nearly as beneficial, or as easy to accomplish.

It is shocking, but it never fails. You had tongue-in-cheek posts after Frank was named interim that at least there wouldn't be any noise to remove the interim tag and everyone chuckled and agreed. Now, a little more than a week later, you have fans actually serious about considering him. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

President and AD will be and should be judged on football HC hire. LSU has talent and along with portal immediately results should be expected. Hopefully they’re not stupid.

Yeah I was one of those who made a thread that got downvoted to oblivion for saying there's gonna be a Wilson campaign with a good showing, and here it is in this thread - even before the first game as interim coach
