re: Hatch is a 3rd string QB in the SEC

Negative or doubt-casting posts do not help LSU.
This posting has no logic.
We have played one game and Hatch performed better than most of the other QBs.
Just not a fair topic at this time,
unless there is a hidden agenda.
If you are going to rate someone, should you not allow them time to create history so the rating
be an intelligent one?

We have absolutely no intermediate or long rang passing attack with him in there. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to stop an offense as one dimensional as LSU's is whenever Hatch is at QB.
You can tell all of this from observing one game in which LSU jumped to a 31-0 halftime lead without attempting a long pass. I guess the coaches called all the wrong plays and we should have been airing it out so we could have scored 50 in the first half.
I recall LSU fans complaining about LSU's lack of big plays offensively after our first game last year. I remember Coach Miles claiming that we were holding nothing back when he made his "wontango offense" comment. Yet that offense went on to set school records. You think the coaches may be playing it close to the vest while letting the QB's get a feel for the game? They did it with Matt Flynn, a ffth year senior, why woud you expect them to do less with Hatch and Lee?

Hatch had a much better outing than Matt Flynn did on his first start. I'm pretty sure CoonCorner was also a Flynn basher as well.
Your post was an unfair post, even by an LSU post-grad standards.

Isn't this two independent clauses joined by a comma with no conjunction? (i.e. comma splice.) Embarassment to my school indeed.

Have a nice dream and go back to sleep. You might even try to support and give the guy a chance.

Thought Hatch managed well vs Appy St. we don't have anything else to guage him by. Give him a chance.

hatch played well i thought, he played better than flynn's first game. granted he didn't go deep that much, but he was accurate and he is a very good rusher. this cooncorner guy has no idea what he is talking about.

Hey cooncorner, I see you went back and edited your spelling errors after we pointed out how stupid you are. God what a pathetic individual you are. I also noticed you went 11 and 7 the first week of college pick um. Just shows:
1) you have not a clue and 2) you are a quitter because you did not bother to pick week #2. Yup, I know who you are. The USMC always told me that there would be 10% shite birds in this life and that is exactly where you fall.

Hatch is not an SEC QB, yes he is a good QB against high school teams, but he will never make it against Auburn.

"I think we should take our bumps and bruises this year with Lee at QB and make a run for it all next year with an experienced and talented QB."
I've seen this posted by several people on several threads. I disagree. We need to put the quarterback who is going to give us the best chance to win every week. Both will learn from each others mistakes and they both watch the same film. If hatch doesn't turn the ball over and Lee does then Hatch needs to run the vanilla offense. As Lee learns from having frequent playing time and watching film he will probably start playing more downs by the end of the season. Just "throwing Lee in there and let the chips fall where they may" strategy isn't fair to Lee, Hatch or LSU.
Bottom line...they both play and whoever makes less mistakes, plays more. Case in point...Peach Bowl, Josh Booty wasn't getting the job done, replaced with Rohan Davey 14 points down at half and we win by 14. We should not have kept RD out the whole first half before changing QB's. We should not wait even a series before changing QB's if one isn't performing well. If they both aren't performing well...May God help us all!!!

THIS JUST IN AUBURN ISN'T THAT GOOD. Please. Sure Hatch needs time but don't give up on him just yet. Geez. He's played 1 game.
Again, I watched Auburn this past week. They aren't anything special.

I wish everyone would just stop the comparisons between Flynn and Hatch.
Let's get something straight - FLYNN CAN THROW IT PAST 10 YARDS WITHOUT PUTTING HIS WHOLE BODY INTO THE THROW.
Flynn was also a better runner.
Flynn managed the game better than any QB I've ever seen play at the collegiate level and had unbelievable poise.
The truth is, Hatch isn't worthy to start for a team like LSU. He should be playing for the BYU Mormons, where he can practice his faith and actually make a difference with his well-below average arm and average quarterback skills.

So you've seen Jefferson in all of his practices?
Cool, how'd he do?

Sorry Momma Flynn ... I don't think anyone on here meant to insult your son.
