Well I guess you can have him for the season, seeing as we have a terrible starting QB. Bring him back though, please.

YES!!! I promise to take extremely good care of him. He will get to eat pretty much whatever he wants, have plenty of room, and get plenty of exercise.

I am however going to train him to hate anything red and associate anything with the Bama logo on it as either a threat to be eliminated or dinner. I will bring him back for the Bama and UGA games.

If Hatch is qualified to start for an SEC team, then I think we all deserve a shot to start for a college football team, as most of us are more athletic and can probably throw the football further.
Why don't you try out hotshot?
I bet Hatch is 10x better than you, after the tryout he would kick your arse, then when you are on the ground crying he would take your girl, if you had one.

If Hatch is 10x better than me, then I wouldn't even have a right arm,and I do have one. It's connected to my right shoulder last time I checked, if you were wondering, so that doesn't even make sense. If Hatch did decide to try to physically harm me after a tryout, I would find that really inappropriate and unsportsmanlike of him. He's supposed to be representing LSU in the image of a true christian. I really doubt Hatch would steal anyone's girlfriend, because that's just flat-out unethical, and he looks like
Eminem with down syndrome.

With the athletes we have at reciever do we really need to throw the ball 40+ yards to beat teams? R. Clausan's putrid self hung 20+ points on us the second half of a monday night game on dink and dunks to beat us (sorry I couldn't think of a game with the outcome of us winning) and I don't remember him throwing any deep balls to do it.

LSUfan3030, Hatch is not a bad QB. He just doesn't have an SEC arm. When hatch is in an SEC game we are limited to screens, short slants and hooks, tight end pop passes, etc.

Against a slow Division 1AA cornerback Hatch is fine, but once he is playing againt SEC DBs that run 4.4 or faster there is no prayer the coaches will call any route deeper than 5-10 yards. Hatch just can't make the throw unless the receiver is wide open. That limits what LSU can do on offense tremendously.

If Hatch had a good arm I think he would be drafted one day in the future, because he is a damn good QB. But not an SEC QB.

This is why I say it is Jared Lee time. The dude didn't even turn the ball over 1 time his senior year in high school...but that was high school.

Honestly, I really agree about Hatch. I don't think we beat Auburn, Alabama, Florida, or Georgia with him getting most of the snaps. Who knows? These two weeks of practice between games could have changed a lot that.

Who knows who'll start or get most of the playing time against North Texas? I haven't heard one practice report since the App. St. game. A lot can change quickly.

Heck, Lee might not play at all against North Texas. Hatch might have won the job outright. Or, it could be the other way around. Or, it could be more of the same: sharing the load, Frodo.

Guys, we beat Bama in T-Town last year and Matt Flynn was not stellar. Sure he completed a bomb to Byrd, but he did not look like an SEC QB in that game and we won.

In the 4th quarter when your QB had to make plays, Flynn was money.

You know what...I change my mind. That's a very insulting thing to say to anyone - especially a fellow tiger fan. I don't support USC, and I hope you will take back your comment.

he really wasn't that great. he completed a 5 yard pass that Doucet ran by 7 defenders and turned into a great TD. Then, Chad Jones made JPW his woman and the game was ours.

Flynn threw 3 INTs on 3 straight drives. He single-handidly brought ya'll back into the game.

He was awful in that game. And luckily, our Defense bailed him out.
