Was the Tennessee coach penalized for the “Batteries and Mustard “ comment? Just wondering.

The SEC doesn't penalize fat inbred coaches

On the current path we’re on, this and many other things are going to be wondered about aloud through litigation. And it will not go well for the SEC.

Sounds like a lack of institutional control for a coach to make that comment

They'll claim that was sarcasm, but then tell you what Lane said at halftime was gospel.

LSU not rostering “pro” players - bad

Other SEC schools rostering “pro” players - acceptable

Alabama playing an NBA player - acceptable

Tennessee coach encouraging violence against another school’s coach - acceptable

What LSU should do is request for extreme extra security, make it a really big deal and make Tenn and Josh H look really bad.

This shite here is why any attempted punishment from the conference should be a non-starter. We are following the rules. Everyone else should too.

Sure sounds like a lack of institutional control.
