Exactly. It was not always perfect but there was a lot more energy brought to the arena when they were on the sidelines. Then LSU decided it was more important to make a few extra dollars and throw the students behind the goal where all but the few on the bottom get horrible seats.

We need to find a new spot for the student section. It's literally 25 feet behind the basket. Put them at halfcourt and I promise more students show up.

They were on the sidelines...and they didn't go to the games. That's a big reason the section was moved. Now, with money being more necessary than ever, LSU is not giving up premium sideline seats for the students. At least not in the PMAC
