Are we watching Saban implode with all the NIL accusations he's throwing around? I mean, I get him going after Jimbo. Those two both seem like guys who would gladly bleed you out if it profited them. The thing that's more bizarre to me is Saban going after "coach Pruiime" as he calls him in the Aflac commercial. That just seems like a bridge too far for even Saban. I don't see an advantage by throwing Deion under the bus. Deion has predictably already injected race into this by saying "our people don't have to be paid to play with our people".

We may look back on this whole situation as the true "beginning of the end" for the Saban era. It will be intriguing to see who falls from grace first...Saban or Jimbo. Jimbo certainly has a much shorter fall but he did just buy uhhh sign the top class in history.

Saban is as untouchable as coach K

He’s the medias little darling a-hole and nothing will ever be done to him

College athletics is being exposed. Many know how corrupt it is, but now we are finally getting a good idea of just how much money is involved, his arrogant these people are and just how well they can lie to our faces.

The media is as fickle as Saban. If he starts bleeding out, they'll drop him like a hot potato. Just look at every "legendary" coach that has reached Saban's age and were still coaching. When you hit that point of diminishing return or scandal, your "friends" in the media are the first ones to slip that dagger into your rib cage!

I love sitting back & watching the shite show.

All of the Ag's and Gumps have been piling on LSU with the OLOL, O and WW stuff. We ALL know they're some cheating sumbitches and I hope it implodes on both programs.

Throw UGA in too because Kirby learned from Saban.

Can SEC Refs accept A&M NIL money? If not, then Saban and UA have not jumped the shark. Last I checked, SEC offices were still in Hoover, ALABAMA.

Jimbo just Epsteined any chance of getting close calls from the SEC refs next season.

I mean Saban will be 71 right at the beginning of this football season. Yes, he appears to be a very young 71, but how much has the stress of college football and more so being the coach at Alabama affected him.

His decline will happen, how or when is the question. It happened to all the great ones, and he will be no exception.

Whether or not he likes it, age wise, we're closer to the end of the "Saban era" than to the beginning.

I take comfort in that. We all should.

I beg to differ. To me he looks like an old woman.

Saban needs to be VERY careful regarding his legacy. If he pokes bears like Jimbo and others, they will provide stories of paying players and other short cuts. The media love him, but the thing they'll love more is a great controversy and tearing him down. NIL is a threat to him. He knows it.

In ten years, he may wish he'd have just decided (now) that NIL is a system he doesn't like and gracefully hang up his whistle.

Instead, he's going all in and making it personal. It may not end well for his legacy.

Coach Saban needed to ride into the sunset like K if he didn’t like the changes and willing to deal with them at this point in his career

Saban knows that he screwed up by specifically mentioning A&M. That's why he tried to call Jimbo to try to sooth things over before it got out of control. Now it's too late. Cats out the bag and Saban has to do damage control. This may be too big for him at his age; he is not in control and would not be surprised if he walks away after this year.

Seems like you didn't watch it at all. He wasn't calling out Jimbo nor A&M. He was telling boosters HOW A&M bought their class. He explained the collective and how everything worked. He didn't say they cheated. He said they bought them, which is true.
