David Pollack “You can’t teach talent but you can teach effort and toughness”

Maybe these pansy arse light practices are why we’re so ducking soft now

Bama players always say gameday is their easiest of the week because Saban rides their arse in practices

It’s one thing to be fresh. It’s another to be scared to hit

They aren’t fresh though. LSU has a boat load of injuries.

I don't think I've ever seen a worse display of tackling than we saw last week.

Effort and toughness is absolutely on the coach when it’s a chronic problem.

It’s also a team leader issue. We just don’t have them. Or their fire quickly goes away after they get hit in the mouth. I don’t know where that stems from, but the identity of the program is a reflection of the head coach.

Don’t know the reason for the “softness” of the defense, but I have a relative that plays for UCLA, and he said UCLA offense came off the field after first series saying, “we can move the ball—they’re soft.”

Oregon’s QB just lowered his shoulder trying to get a first down. He hit the OSU DB harder than any LSU player hit anyone last week.

These players didnt just become scared to hit. Yes some players lacked effort which you have to hold players accountable. But if your coaches lack effort as well then...attitude reflects leadership.

3 deep on the defensive line and still played soft.

Like i said. Lsu needs a re-branding.

You need a coach to come in and change the entire outlook.

I would expect O’s teams to be tough and play motivated. That seems to be what he is about as he certainly is not about the X’s and O’s. But this team under O is soft as Charmin and seem totally uninspired and unmotivated. At the first hint of adversity they become unraveled like a cheap suit.

Say what you want about les and the big cat drill but there was no question of toughness.

Pussies on here didn’t get it. Those who played did.
