I hate the fact that my LSU ring has the toonces head on it. Had i graduated on time i would have gotten the Helmet Logo...wish i would have known that might have been enough motivation to get it done with

I mean look at how crappy ours looks compared to every other logo on there. It just sucks

I don't think that's the reason.... I seriously never have gotten all the hate for that logo.....most of my stuff is so old it has the old logo with Mike III s head , but I have some of the newer logo stuff too.

young black men who play basketball don't want some lame toonces logo. they want something that's got swag like the logo on the football helmets. i think everyone would want something that shows tradition not just some made up logo like boise st. has

Not sure what the hell they were thinking.... we need to start some sort of online petetion to get rid of that mess. I agree, go back to the old mike logo, still the best buy far.

Agreed. I know that Nike and some of these other companies realize this because Sailor Mike and Helmet Mike are everywhere now. I'm glad because I have options I actually like.

Alright guys, this thread has annoyed me and I'm having a good day. Who can I talk to about this stupid logo? I know a DKE started a petition several years ago near the Union, but only garnered about 1500 signatures.
Does LSU have a specific office for logo marketing or would it be a sub-set of a higher office?
Toonces needs to die at the 10 yr mark.
We also could get someone to write an incredibly written essay on why it needs to go along with 2003/2007 BCS titles, etc as to why it sold so well.
