All reports are that he signed his contract 3 years, 2 million a year.

You don’t really have to worry about offensive coordinator much. I’ve heard that he has signed a contract, but if something crazy happens, we don’t have to worry about offensive coordinator.

Contracts take a while. So far he’s only signed a term sheet. Whether it has any language that would be binding, no one knows, but likely not.
People can change their minds, but the fact that he acknowledged LSU in his public statement about coaching the playoff certainly signals intent. He would have been more vague if there was no interest in returning to LSU to continue working with Lane.

Is that in effect now? As in, if he leaves for USF before ever coaching a game here, do we get that buyout from them?
