His arm strength is already incredible. I can't wait to see how Harris throws the ball once he gets a little bigger and stronger. SEC fricked

They should crush them. Ole Miss hasn't been impressive.

Remember that time Auburn was beating Tech 24-10 in the 4th quarter and the only reason they extended their lead was because Tech's secondary duffed it on a terrible throw by Marshall?

Auburn isn't that good.

Like, idk if we'll beat them. Probably not. But they're a 3-loss team.

Eh.. That reminds me of Georgia playing terribly against North Texas the week before LSU last season. Auburn will be ready. But I'm excited about what Harris can do.

Yeah, but Auburn has not looked impressive offensively all year.

it sucks because i really think LSU is better than Auburn, but right now, this week, a run-spread offense vs this run defense is the worst imaginable matchup.

if this game was in a month, and Harris had more reps to become what we think (hope) he'll become, and Chief could maybe patch something together where it at least looks like we have 11 players on the field, then yeah, easy win.

because im with you, i dont think auburn is that good, and i dont think gus is that good. he's not a bad coach by any means, but he inherited a talented team (say what you will but chizik could recruit) with players he already knew, and only made the title game after somehow getting once in a lifetime miracles in back to back weeks.

I think Nick Marshall is really bad at passing.

If we can get him into throwing downs when you know he's going to throw (which won't be often), we have to take advantage.

God, I hope your right. Imo, LSU could have won a NC, with RP.

Even with that bad defense LSU only loses to Florida in 2008 with Perrilloux at QB.

Harris will be great. One of the best arms at LSU. I have EDCI 1001 with him. He went to my high school.

I would ask you to elaborate, but I'd rather not know.

Well I think it's pretty obvious RP was irresponsible. It followed him wherever he went. There's no need for people on this board to continually sugar coat it. Team sweep is real.

Glad to see you got 21 likes. I said something similar after the MSU game and had a 50:50 reaction with half the people wondering how I could make such a comparison. One guy (with about 30K posts) told me to never post again. When I look at Harris' throws they remind me of a few of the great throws Perrilloux made in the '07 SEC championship game.

With the exception of Mett, Flynn, Mauck, and Lee we have had predominately black QBs at LSU since the late 90s. Can we just drop the shite and say nice QB to QB comparison?!

Exactly. I've been following LSU football since the '70s. When Harris throws the ball he reminds me of the few times I saw Perrilloux play. He doesn't remind be of Davey, Russell, Tyler, Jefferson or Randall. He also does not remind me of Mauck, Flynn, Lee, Booty or Mettenberger. It is a style of throwing thing, not a race thing. Perrilloux will always be a "what could have been" type of player - especially when one considers what we could have done in the 2010 season. It's cool to think we may have a similar player without the off-the-field issues.
