I see no way we can lose.
Agree. When was the last time we had 18 out of 22 starters back, a QB with two years of game experience under his belt, a Heisman Trophy contender, with a bunch of them projected to be first round draft picks? Too much talent to lose a game.
15-0

I agree. There are some problems at Alabama with the resignation of Bo Davis. How that plays out we won't know til the season gets here.

So, same sentiment as last year.

Our playcalling is what needs to improve.
It's not one thing or the other. Lots of things need improvement. In some situations, play calling has to get better. In some situations, the qb needs to not over throw his open TE on a GOOD play call. That was LSUs shot to go ahead of BAMA. Instead it's essentially a pick 6. Coverage teams need to get a lot better or else you'll keep spotting teams points and valuable field position.

Lol. Rex even sucks on the Tiger Rant.

The defense needs to improve drastically as well. People like to hang losses around the QB's neck. But that three-game skid had more to do with the fact that we got our asses handed to us at the LOS on defense than it did with QB play.

can we just beat bama this one time...pretty please

rex even you know a little bit about the complexatives of the game even bama with its ESPN generated three deep teams don't always get the NC !

My thoughts are this. New system, even though I believe it be great, will have growing pains on D. I think Harris has to be good and we catch some breaks.
My prediction, Offense is MUCH better and we aren't as good as we thought on D. We're good on D with some crazy good plays but not as lights out early as we could be.

this is correct. We need better QB play, but Harris probably gets too much blame.
It all starts at the line of scrimmage, and we lost those battles in November.

The key to LSU's title hopes is not Brandon Harris.
It's both lines.
Period. End of story.

I sure hope we are not disappointed. A three to four loss season would really take the air out of the program. Save your breath Beefense, we don't want to hear it.

Harris plays well we win the national championship, right?
Yep, just like the last time we had a QB play really well.
In 2013.

That's the way it usually is for teams like LSU that rely on power football and don't try to spread the field and create good matchups. It's fine if you're Alabama and always guaranteed to have the most talented and deepest OL and DL in the country. If you're not...well, you're not.
