Aranda needs to figure out the whole that was Vincent and Monroe.

hes got a bunch of guys that play better in man coverage and he's trying to bring them along in zone and mixed coverages for later in the season

if he went straight base defense, lined up man to man and let them press, they'd all look a lot better. but you don't improve that way, so i get why he's tinkering in games where we have a decided advantage.

Did he specify the injury to Harris?

The way his leg planted looked really awkward

Yeah, probably ACL. Looked almost identical to Chaisson's last year.

No, but safe to assume it's a torn ligament with the time frame.

I think he's not letting on how serious these are.

I'm sure they'd like to sit them until the Florida game. I believe both are bad ankle sprains.

Says he wants to be able to run the ball more. But they have been giving them the pass, and it's hard not to throw.
thank you

Right.

Which haunt players for entire seasons.

At the end of the year, we're going to end up attributing a loss to these guys not being 100%. Lawrence has glass ankles and plays so much worse when he's not 100% and Logan has been arguably our best DL until he got hurt.

Sucks.

We need to move Vincent to deep safety and let Flott or somebody play nickel

Disappointed that they can't get pressure with 4. They aren't where they need to be right now.

Even when healthy, Lawrence is hit or miss as a pass-rusher. Fehoko rarely gets one. I know it is unpopular to say, but Chaisson isn't quite the pass-rushing monster many think he is. Certainly he has the ability to develop into one and he's only played 2 games this season, but he's not there yet. I don't know if Thornton or Anthony will ever get to the QB.

IMO, I'd like to see Divinity go back to OLB. Clark and Queen have been solid at ILB along side Phillips. I think Divinity gives you more benefit over other guys as a OLB than he does over other guys at ILB

I think you are correct. Divinity was the best pass rusher last year. Clark and Queen look like they can handle inside. Divinity needs to be used more as a pass rusher.

HArris wasn’t the starter JaCoby was. As far as who takes his reps, Cam Lewis or Eric Monroe

That's all well and good, but we don't want to end up with a situation where he only trusts one guy to carry the ball when that guy may not be the best RB we have.

Agree, but when healthy he's been a force. It has just been rare to get a fully healthy Lawrence.

True. He's a strong dude that holds his ground well, but he doesn't pressure much.

I think he is there, assuming he heals. He was so close the entire Texas game on the edge and was blatantly held almost every time. I can't believe we didn't get more of those calls. He didn't get a chance to pass rush Georgia Southern because they don't pass.

I think he's going to elite once he comes back.

Completely agree. Clark and Queen are torpedoes.
