Anthony Jennings in his first game

21/33
186 YDS
1 TD
0 Int
64% completion

Granted they got their arse kicked and he only completed dink and dunk passes, but damn if we could just do that it would open the box for the run. If the wideouts didn't run a curl route, it was a damn fly route. Run some crossing routes for once. The one fricking time we throw to the tight end boom 20 yard pass to Smith.

And before you say Harris throws the ball too high, each one of those passes hit Dupre in the hands and he dropped them, including 2 deep passes Harris allowed him to make a play on and another he let the DB take the ball from his hands.

Once again Harris can be way better but a QB that should be in the gun making 3 step drop quick passes is instead running bootlegs throwing fricking bombs every play with only 2 players running routes.

I agree. Harris is but a symptom of the real sickness: Les Miles.

The oline played horrible, even pocic I honestly don't have words for for how bad they played.

We need to do patterns, if you look when Dural did a double move they couldn't handle him, we should of went 3-4 wr sets the whole game and played the te

Can we please stop with this already. Harris is not good, will he ever get replaced probably not. He is still as he was last year. Every national analyst see's it along with any other fan base with half a brain, sad that our head coach doesn't. He will sink with the ship with his starting QB.

I don't think any QB can succeed in LSUs offense. It's impossible to get in a rhythm with Cam Cameron's shitty play calling.

If Less Smiles recruits another dual threat QB and puts him in a pro-style, pocket pass offense I think my head will explode. Harris should've gone to Auburn where they run an offense for his skills - he might've had a chance. In sum, the problem since he was hired is Les fricking Miles. Should've been fired after the OT loss to ARK back in 2007.

Harris is not good ok. But what about every other glaring problem we have with this fricking team? Miles continues to put and undisciplined unorganized clusterfrick team on the field every year. It bit him in the arse the fist game this year. Miles is the biggest problem lsu has. Until we fix his arse and get rid of him, nothing else will change. I'm Frickin royally pissed right now the miles did this shite to us again. We need a new culture around lsu football. It's the whole damn program that needs changing from the bottom up.

He is certainly part of it, frick are you people dense?

He throws the ball.
He makes decisions on the field.
He is a Junior QB now.

Stop giving this dude a pass and screaming play calling when it's much more involved than that.

And of course Harris is PART OF THE PROBLEM

Good fricking God.

It's like fricking ground hog's day.

Fans STILL think the QB problem is the player. Yeah. The NEXT guy will solve it.

My dad always said his favorite player will always be a the backup QB for a les miles team... We should realize by now our offense will be shite no matter who we throw out there until les miles is gone.

Our problem is we have no real identity. There's nothing we're really good at. We try a lot of packages, but never really set anything up.

Had ONE good year.

So, what you're saying is, we can hope for an offense that looks like it is post-1970 the next time we have a Senior QB with two future ALL-Pro WRs and a Stud NFL ready RB all on the field at the same time in their last year before the NFL.

Well frick. Isn't that grand?

Harris is indeed a major part of the problem. His inability to throw a short pass has killed the offense. It enables every defense to stack the box.

The real problem is Les Miles. He has to go.

I recall Mett having one great season back in 2013 with Cam Cameron calling the plays.

You do not know till you try. The other coach not from LSU in the 'other' game started a qb, sat him after going nowhere and whalah, things happened.

Miles should have had to replace Cam, worst overpaid college OC, in today's game. If nothing else he has proven he can not develope a young college QB. As bad as I despise Lane Kiffin, we should have given him Cam's million plus yearly salary.
