Yesterday they were saying he reminds them of Debo Jones. Only thing is that Perkins is much bigger as a freshman then Debo was. At 6'3 230 he can fly!

I’m obviously completely ignorant to the nuances of actual football as it was simply him running and pushing a guy. Yes he looks fast but am I just completely missing that he was way faster than everyone else? Is what he did impressive and worthy of a thread?

Eta
I’m being serious when I lead off with it’s apparent I do not get the nuances of football. Is what he did highlight worthy? If so, great

Aggies in shambles over losing out on him. You love to see it.

If he’s sideline to sideline fast at 230, he’ll be on the field as a true LB before just being a specialist.

very impressive to diagnose a play that quickly and move that fast laterally at his size, especially as a freshman

corners and especially S's will need to be on same page all the time 100% because I have a feeling House is going to be almost Madden like in blitzing almost all the time.

It won't be from the same look and same place on a regular basis (Chavis), he'll want to bring somebody from somewhere pretty damn often. Or at least that's what me thinks. He's going to make opposing OL's be second guessing themselves on every play.

Why would you say that? As good as our front 4 should be, we shouldn't need to blitz to get pressure.

We know he can get there but can he tackle? I noticed in the Polynesian Bowl that he would get there but wouldn't finish. I wrote it off as not wanting to get hurt. I assume that this was not live tackling today even though it was a scrimmage?
Not saying he is soft just haven't seen him bring the pads with the speed yet.

So you didn’t notice Perkins run past Baskerville #23 to get to the running back?

Saw Perkins play in high school. Dude is an absolute baller.

Don’t be surprised if he gets some touches on offense too.

He is a game changer and future All-American.
