Russian, the only one evading anything is the obvious by you. It's clear he is pointing out that drives captained by Lee brought better results.

I said it in another topic and i will say it again..........am not a fan of the 2 QB system at all but in this case it may be our salvation. At this point neither of our QBs can do it all, all by themselves, and there are advantages to keeping the defense on their toes wondering who is gonna run and who is gonna pass. I like it for the time being, numbers from this game speak for themselves.

Wish they would have done some qb draws/runs with Lee in game, Florida did not expect him to run at all and he was always wide open right after handoff, no one around him by a mile.

Lee is QB. Shep is running QB. We dominate.

I agree with Rex, you act like Lee wouldn't have scored with those TDs. JJ made nice plays on those, I give him credit, but with Lee the defense has to respect the pass, with JJ, it's 8 men in the box time.

I answered your question. Now answer mine...

Because Jefferson scored two touchdowns after Lee got the team close to the goal we should use Jefferson on our own side of the field?

And I'm not refuting that. But I think JJ should be given some credit for what he did at the end of two drives.
I would like to see JL start. I think he is the better leader and is a better QB.

But for Rex to imply that JJ had nothing to do with the two drives that ended in him scoring the touchdowns is just idiotic, IMO. But being idiotic is fairly common for Rex so I'm not surprised.

We have had one of the best programs in the country since 2003. We won tonight in the Swamp, for the first time since 2004. And people are actually bitching? Holy shite, I really like this team.

Running games work better with a good passer, and Miles obviously overrates Jefferson's running ability.

so what percent credit do you give JL and what percent do you give JJ? 95-5?

Why is this so hard for you to understand.... just because Jefferson scored two rushing TD's doesn't mean he should be our quarterback, nor does it mean the two QB rotation worked. It only WORKED because Lee was nearly perfect in his part.

JLee had 2 TD's and 2 assists. Jefferson better buy Lee steak dinners all week. The Jefferson package at the goal line is ok, but I don't like it every time we're there. Lee showed he can produce TD's from the goal line too.

Giving full drives to Jefferson is a complete waste of plays and if the coaches don't recognize this I will continue to laugh at them

It would be like arguing that Ronnie Brown should've been Miami's QB when he was going off in the wildcat not so long ago.

It's fricking retarded.

I answered your question.
No, you never did. I asked you if you discounted 100% the two TD's JJ scored. You replied you discounted those TD's but you didn't say you discounted them 100%.

That's not a question. It's a statement.

I think it depends on the situation. If it's 3rd and short, I can see using JJ on our side of the field. It gives us another runner for the defense to have to account for.

But I would play JL 75-85% of the time. I think he has a better head for the game and is a better leader.

What I don't know is would some of the other players on the team resent JL replacing JJ as the starter? Could that be the reason LM might be reluctant to start JL if it might create some division on the team?

Why is it so hard for you to understand that is NOT what I've been asking you?

I really don't know why this is even controversial... Jefferson is not a QB and it showed AGAIN.

The object of an offensive drive is NOT to run the ball better than the other guy. The object is NOT to pass the ball better than the other guy. The object is to SCORE. It doesn't matter a rat's arse if the team runs the ball better with Jefferson (which is doubtful, anyway) if the team doesn't score. Jefferson led us to ZERO touchdowns even though he played most of the series. Lee led us to FOUR. Lee fulfilled the object.

All I know is that it is silly to argue that the two QB system "worked" when it seems MUCH more readily arguable that the two QB system only served to waste series' for us.

I mean frick. I suppose if you let some scrub play every 4th series for the Colts, they might still win the game but that wouldn't make pulling Manning every 4th series any less retarded.

(BEFORE you say it, no, JL =/= Manning)
